I had already seen this movie ... but today I looked more carefully! very nice site. Resembles the forts are in northern Sardinia. defensive requirements were the same .. protect a harbor. 5+
i went up there in the summer but didn't risk climbing the fence as it was hammering it down and did not fancy getting skewered but will go there again on a dry day as gutted i didn't get in

did you see the lime kilns next to the fort, not as big as this but very interesting
