  • Just a little advice. Look at the disarm in slow-mo. When you grab the gun, you must turn your head to the side to avoid getting shot in the head when the gun goes off. Any bad guy will pull the trigger as soon as you grab the gun, you do not want your head in the front of the barrel....Just want to help.

  • From the distance of the camera it's hard to see what my brother Michael Chong did. He turned the barrel of the gun away from his head/face, pointing it towards the "bad guy", and then he disarmed him taking full control of the gun. The barrel was no where near his head. He paused for a second when he touched the gun to show the students where he was grabbing it. We realize in reality he would do it much faster while moving his head. We were focusing on hand placement. Thank you for the advice.

  • What is unique to the Pan Nam / Fushan branch of Wing Chun are its clawing and tearing hand motions. Also, the intricate system of Chin Na / Qin Na (joint locking) techniques, similar to those of Eagle Claw Kung Fu, is another unique characteristic found in this branch of Wing Chun. It was these principals that have inspired this gun disarm technique set in an execution style scenario.

  • Note: All techniques shown here are for example only and in very slow motion. They require training, practice and instruction from a qualified instructor. Do not rely on them in a life and death situation without careful assessment

    of the risks.
