HI. Visit my site, and check out some of my work. David Lynch is my inspiration for film. I also make music. If you are interested in making films in David Lynch stile, please contakt me! Site is free :) . I'm not trying to sell something :) . Just looking for people like me.
they're here on youtube and in all sorts of other places online. they're all put together in one video on google video. furthermore, they're in no way impossible to find or pulled from internet.
Lynch has succeeded at entertaining me w/ Blue Velvet, confusing me w/ Mulholand Lane, boring me w/ The Straight Story, and scaring me into never sleeping again w/ Rabbits & Eraserhead. Those images will haunt me forever. FOREVER.
I'm quite surreal and even the explanation (The rabbits are people in Hell)
scares the living "f" out of me. Its just creepy and you don't know why. I do. Because if thats Hell, you might end up there someday.
I think that Hell is David Lynch's early work. Where nothing makes sense to the point that logic is completely abandoned. And THAT is scary. A World Where Nothing Makes Sense.
@MisterSynyster Brilliant insight man! Absolutely brilliant! I love stuff like this and people like you that take the "given," somewhat vague facts on a place that isn't too well spoken of and almost contort it into another way of seeing it (like Lynch). You see Hell as a almost cellular "place," I see Hell as being negative state of mind, like when we experience stress, face depression, HPPD, or mental psychosis. Yet it IS a "place" of spiritual isolation from God (being the ability to cope).
@MisterSynyster I go to Hell every night. I really hope that when I die that I am awake. I'm pretty sure that people who die in their sleep go to Hell. I'd much rather everything just stop and I become nothingness than be doomed to live in endless dreams for eternity -- that's a seriously frightening concept
@MisterSynyster Considering the fact that our world is in a state of chaos...we are in hell....its how you perceive these things that makes it "heaven" or "hell"
I've got the real one on DVD, this was definately not directed by Lynch, the real one stars, among two others, Naomi Watts, and takes place in a purposely staged-looking environment.
there is something un-lynch-like (neologism of the day) about this. I don't know much about the rabbits short films - so, you're saying this is the first one of those? Can see why people don't believe it but I don't know
Yeah this is definately not directed by David Lynch, it is some kind of imitation by an amateur. Try watching the real one and you will see the vast difference.
I was very fond of the use of the word "disease" and some of the words directly following it... I felt like you painted an interesting picture with just your vocal tone.
I'd recommend using more figurative imagery without resorting to colour in the future. "Broken window" was more poetic than the direct "tearing-open red".
someone needs to unscramble the conversations their haveing, then mabey we can figure out what it means
