  • 1:43 most epic piccolo face evar xD

  • I played this at one point in orchestra, and my conductor told us, for one of the pizz rhythms to play "rest, plink, rest, plink, plink, rest, rest, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, YEAH. Twinkle toes, twinkle toes, twinkle toes... (etc.)"

    He's an awesome conductor.

  • i played the trombone "solo" for an audition and it just sounded off in this :( ~. i dont know why kzu i was watching the conductor and the downbeats were screwed up

  • 33 people lack taste.

    33 people eat Kraft Dinner.

    33 people lack culture.

33 people should stick to Pepsi Pop top 40 music.

33 people should have their Youtube and internet privilidges revoked.

  • I find this not played very well. Especially with some random outbursts of band equipment, and many mistakes which you can easily identify which sadly does not make this one of the best performances.

One thing that is surprising is how small the orchestra is.. usually when Berlioz is undertaken large numbers of musicians play.

Anyhow I find it a nice listen!

  • @ClassicMusicOnly They are amateurs. I'm not sure who the orchestra are, but the conductor is a former music scholar at Harrow School and Cambridge who now works for Thomson Reuters in his native Thailand and devotes his weekends to music.

  • lol look at conductor at 2:08 lol!

  • not a very well played version

  • y a comme un couac de trombone à 0:40..pété de rire..rofl..a kind of....errr..." truck horn" at 0:40 .

  • Szerintem ez a legjobb.:

  • jap that's really funny........ rofl.

  • Couldn't help but to laugh at that random burst of brass at 0:40

  • to erickoston05: i am blond and its not my fault, I am blue eyed and german and its not my fault either: all these things are COINCIDENTAL- therefore it is quite SILLY and unreflected to be PROUD of them.

IF I am proud I am proud of being a medical doctor and having brought up a child who developped to an honest human being and likewise finished university studies successfully: THAT IS WITH THE HELP OF GOD SOMETHING, TO WHICH I CONTRIBUTED. I try to reflect before posing comments ! Dr.Warkus

  • I tend to think you're overreacting more than just a tad bit.

  • that's true, noone chooses his/her parents, nationality and background

however you can be proud (in a sensible way) of your nation and the people who bring good reputation to your or to my country. its just a good feeling when you go abroad and people know hungarian composers and admire their work. i am happy when people ask about famous hungarian composers rather than ask about my shitty country's situation.

you can be proud of your parents and you did not choose them either.

  • denk nicht zu viel an die Hilfe Gottes, es gibt kein Gott

  • HotEast: Büszke magyar vagyok

I'm to be proud of hungarian

    :)

Hungarian blood leaks in my veins!

high repect Liszt Ferenc, 15th Hungarian Rhapsody, "Rákoczi March"

  • the percussion can back off alittle bit, lol

  • We're attempting this for contest... man I am scared!

  • 2:00 this measure is like a fresh wind. I have never heard and felt such a perfect variation in a music piece...

  • MMMh, insomma... il pezzo non è semplice ma non è che sia suonato bene. L'inizio le trombe hanno fatto del casino... peccato!

  • very good choice of song, almost there..

  • A very good choice of piece that is...

    Yes, beautiful!

  • hungarian culture... the onlyone thing, slovakians couldn't stole from us...

  • Én büszke lenni Magyar - even though I wish I still spoke the language.

  • im playing this on trombone right now. its a pretty wicked fun piece of music for the brass section. they pulled it off pretty nicely too. they made me jump a bit at the end it was so intense lol.

  • beautiful. i played this with my middle school band. i love this song
