notice that they are in a place with no background objects. this game is gonna suck when it comes to being able to pick up motion...

That's really not true.

The game can be play even in a room where it has multicolor background. We use plain background in the video just to clearly show the motion of player.

But since it's a motion detection software, if there are other unwanted motions in the view, that will interfere with the control. That's a limit for this technology.
