If you guys don't live near your states fighter wing then none of y'all know that it was an accident. I see f-16s flying over all the time and a huge majority of them are carrying dummy bombs. Fortunatly we haven't had an accident but judging as since they were only 25 lb dummies then I would only kill some one by directly falling on them. It was an accident.

training accidents happen, it could have been a faulty release mechanism. The reason that training missions are ran over U.S. cities is to help train pilots in landscape recognition. The reason that the "Dummy" bomb was attached was for weight reasons, and so ground crew attaching the projectile could be trained. Clearly between either the ground crew, or pilot there was a mistake, but mistakes happen. Sorry!

Quite literally, shows the danger of affirmitive action policies. Someone, cough, cough, unqualified was flying that run, who was allowed in for reasons of race and well, something bad happened.

Just a heads up, some might take that as a racist statement (if you draw the conclusion that someone who wasn't white got in, and therefore wasn't qualified). I'm assuming you meant that this hypothetical person messed up because they weren't qualified, not because of racial inferiority.

Actually, AA hurts blacks most. The problem is AA creates a first come, first served sort of situation. Some idiot shows up, gets the position because he's black, then a qualified black candidate shows up later, and it's "sorry, we've met our quota for now". The idiot then proceeds to do crap like drop bombs on civies during a practice run, lol. The powers that be conclude that they need to stop allowing in blacks before something bad happens.
