  • @CalisCool what the hell are you talking about?

  • @CalisCool what the hell are you talking about? They have totally different styles.

  • @zanefrisch IDK listening to ecstasy and friends right now and I still have the same thoughts bout it...

  • @CalisCool I know that it is sidchained and compressed, but do you know how many artists are doing that? They have two distinct styles.

  • @zanefrisch No idea dude to be honestly. i just started making beats myself

  • @zanefrisch apply a compressor as an insert on to the track you want to side-chain. then you need something to trigger the side-chain. use a send from your kick to a bus and make sure the bus has no output(otherwise you will hear the original kick and the bus kick). Then in your compressor look for the side-chain option and select the bus you sent your kick to. Experiment with high compressor ratio's and low thresholds at first to really hear it's effect. Hope that was helpful mate =)

  • @herefordopeness think you meant that for CalieCool, I've been using sidechain/compression for going on two years now.

  • @zanefrisch Haha, whoops my bad.

  • An ungodly mixture of wonky beats, synth lazers, anime samples, scientific yet spiritual spoken word and basslines from the bubbling to the obscene. Cerebral, heavy-rolling and jaw-droppingly skilled, Calling All Gods is one hour and forty minutes of pure audio hypnosis. Featuring the likes of Samiyam, Digital Mystiks, Flying Lotus, Jamie Vexd, Dibiase, Ken Shiro, Dimlite and many many more.

  • aww hell yeah I was looking for this song but I never knew the name.

    Thanks for uploading.

  • sidechain compression

  • @droan999 sick track huh

  • @droan999 MULITBAND SIDECHAIN COMPRESSION... AWWWW YEAAAA

  • @leskarppool Multiband? how would that work? Are you sure it's not just the kick doing the compression (single-band)?

  • @droan999 this comment, and it's thumbs up, stand as a testament to the fact that this style of music is generally the listening realm of people who produce themselves.

  • @droan999 any one who doesn't make music is like the fuck?
