I always wondered how is GW all about skill i played a lvl 20 char and i had 8 buttons..if u have to choose from 500 or so ..so what..??u will end up with 8 butons to use....no skill..plz explain

The main difference I can see is GM style.

WoW = The GMs are unapproachable, Contact a GM and you had better have a problem or you are in trouble Mister/Missy.

GW = GMs are easily approachable and quite helpful and are active in the community.

I've played wow for more than 3 years now, and i just recently started playing gw. its an alright game, but i got bored pretty fast. i hit the level cap the day after i got the game and all the quests seem very basic. go talk to this guy then talk to that guy. walk to this area then walk to another. its a good thing gw is free cuz i dont think it would be worth 15 bucks a month.

I own both and play them both alot, they're different in tons of ways:

1. Guild wars you can get a max level character in a day

2. WoW you don't use talents adn gear to make you better

3. guild wars is all about the skills you use (as it has 400+ per "class" compared to WoW's 100).

4. You appear to suck at all of the games xD

I find that WoW majorly lags and has quite a few maintanance problems ive played Guild Wars for the same amount of time and had no lags or issues But this is my opinion... I would rather play a no fees game than having to pay £8.99 a month for WoW ---------------------- The things the same: - Game type - Layout ---------------------- Guild Wars has much better graphics

Quit comparing 2 completly diffrent games. They both have their ups and downs and iam not going into detail.

So what if you have to pay for one? the more people play it the better the servers have to be, and that will mean the company need more people to manage the server (meaning they need to be paid) so in the end they ask the people who use their product to pay for these people.

Don't get me wrong i've played both and really can't complain about either,but they are so much diffrent
