  • It's very strange...they have a song called "På Floden" which is swedish for "On the River".

  • What song plays at the beginning?

    Great take away show!

  • @swenoneone i think it's a segment from their song called "Temporacha (てんぽらちゃ)"

, you can have a listen here /watch?v=GZ8uMi6gGhs

  • This is easily the best Take Away Show I've seen/heard and I hadn't even heard of this band before watching this. This is gorgeous beyond belief. It makes me cry.

  • something so simple can be so beautiful

  • <3

  • check out my remix on soundcloud.. just copy and paste into a search engine:

jodimaster Baibaba Bimba by Tennis Coats Remix

  • wow...

    I like the train

  • Japan, you're doing it right.

  • I'm surprised at how African this song sounds. If you listen to some of the folk guitarists coming out of Mali and Senegal, they have the same sound.

  • @CJAnonymous I know what you mean. Moreover,Mali music sometimes sounds very like Japanese traditional music to me.

  • By far my fav take away show

  • he said "there is a mic inside"... ;)

  • lol, does anyone know what the guy said at 1:40 after she tapped on his guitar?

this song is so earthy, i love it.

  • 5 stars for the sound guy!

  • @zemen51 thanks !

  • うつくしい

  • beautiful

  • i love this song

  • this reminded me of the 60`s. The freedom, the love. So raw, straight from the heart.

    Beautiful!!!

  • this is like one of the best song i have heard in awhile

  • I just think cocorosie should do a show. that's all.

  • when i get a pet dog the name will be "Baibaba Bimba"

  • This whole performance is amazing, but the first 30 seconds of this video is something special.

  • Music the universal language.

  • she is Japanese. im from japan too. her lyrics has no meanening. not even japanese.

anyway the band so cool for sure.

  • Does anyone have the lyrics? Possibly translated?

  • Also, the chords for anyone who wants them:

    Bm7add4: x20230

    Dadd2/F#: 200230

    G6: 320000

    A7: x02020

  • it s a bit weird n lots of baibabas.. but it s somewhat nice to hear..

  • Impossible to describe what you feel when you heard this.. This is life. You want to laugh and to cry !

  • センスのカタマリ

  • It's like a really really good cup of tea, so much warmth and depth.

  • amazing! tenniscoats!

  • I fell in love with this song, this moment.... so beautiful...

  • Bimba in portuguese is not a good thing.

She makes it sound lovely ^^

  • @n3kas AHAH boa boa! :D Lovely Music... :D u guys are good! :D

  • los amo

  • sugeeeeee

  • And what camera does are they using?

  • This Take Away Shows are amazing!!! These are instant music videos! More please :)

  • Hmm, cool song and video, but I think she should stick to just singing. The "hitting things with other stuff" and "ch-ch-ch"-ing doesn't fit her nor the song in my opinion.

  • Can anyone tell me the notes of the melodica in the chorus? Thank you!

  • Their music is so mesmerizing and she makes the magic happen!

  • Amazing.

  • 絶妙!

  • @sonococojima I hope you are saying good things! Just kidding, hugs for you.

  • That's really nice :)

  • WHAT SONG IS PLAYING AT THE BEGINING!!!!!!!!!!

  • hahaha... dear god...this is STILL the loveliest thing i've ever heard..i want to learn japanese or perhaps vietnamese so bad..

  • This is just so amazing... I'm speechless...

  • I'd really love to hang around with those guys for a day, they seem so carefree and sweet<3

  • C'est dans ces moments la qu'on se rend compte que c'est quand même sympa d'être en vie

  • really beautiful.. could someone translate it into english or french?! thnx

  • @eveostler your translation: "Baibaba Bimba hmmmmmm Baibaba Bimba bababim"

  • Realmente delicioso, Me encantaria conocer la letra en castellano. Tambien espero que el Tsunami vaya siendo poco a poco, muy poco a poco un mal sueño.

    Mucha fuerza desde España.

  • i hope two of you are safe in Japan!!

  • @waihk18 yes they are fine ! I wrote to saya just after the earthquake, she said they were in the west after touring in japan, and planned to play benefit shows. best wishes to them.

  • @colinsolalcardo you are so sweet<3 thank you so much!!yup, best wishes to them and have a good show!!:)

  • so sweet, how they use the train also as an instrument.... nice!

  • this is beatiful, makes me feel all warm inside :) haha

  • i almost cried.

  • Hope these two grow old together.just beautiful! peace

  • @mudhoney333 umm there related

  • @TugBoatest Yeah ok then....nevermind :D

  • omigad so good

  • Been searching for lyrics and ran across Saya's liner notes for the Tan-Tan cd which could be lyrics based on @XCRunner88 's transl.

    "Baibaba Bimba

One warm flash lights by flocking together appear and wink

    with good smell

Starting of departure has been stimulated and rhythmed up by breathing

The sea who waits our navigation is becoming big or small

with good-bye and hello." from hapna.com

  • 4分過ぎの消化器は美術で用意したんじゃないのかと思うぐらい効果的

  • Wow! A brand new kind of music! this is true WORLD music. Not only playing on the instruments of the world, but playing WITH the whole world. Everything in this video's a part of the song. Every step, passing person train, and blow of wind. Beautifully composed by God or Love or whoever did it. This is true art.

  • wow, when the train starts rolling into the station around 2:00, it sounds like it's just part of the song! amazing!

  • great song

  • i think its safe to say that at 2.53 the guy playing guitar drops his guts

  • Awesome. I can't tell you how often the first little ditty gets stuck in my head and comes out my lips.

  • i LOVE her.

  • love it, reminds me of the music artists in under a name called "pastel music"

  • Watching this video was like hugging your teddy bear underneath your covers when you were a kid. It's so rare to see people happy in their element — expressing themselves with honesty and such purity. I love when the train fades away (@6:27) it echoes and sounds like a chorus is echoing behind them.

  • This is so heart-warming.

  • -.-

  • 幼少の頃、意味もなくスチール製のフェンスを指でカタカタしたことを思い出した

  • this song makes me fucking happy :D

    love love love!!!

  • Gods...she sings like a baby

  • What are the chords for this song?

  • 4:36あたりで、電車の騒音も音楽に融合されてるところが、特に素晴らしい。

  • i like japanese people

  • That was lovely. So carefree, what freedom.

  • Ugh this really hits home. Seeing apartments and rusted railings really reminds me of the place where I use to grow up in. Normally when you think of Japan you think of a place with high-end architecture everywhere, rarely does it remind you of these underdeveloped areas. The joy that they receive from such simple activities really makes me happy, even though they may not be the wealthiest. Sometimes I wish the world didn't revolve around money, it'd be more enlightening to live carefree.

  • Any musicians work the tabs out yet?

  • one listen is all it takes

  • hello bombshell

  • good feeling, nice colors

  • I feel like a baibababimba or beibaba b6mba....such a good feeling.

  • This makes me happy

  • I love how she got that semi-stern-looking businessman to smile a genuinely pleased smile... who wouldn't smile while walking by this loveliness?

  • oh my gosh her voice is so pretty... i actually feel insanely relaxed!

  • wonderful

  • This is really cute. But I don't understand it, I don't understand the point of it. But the happiness in her eyes makes it not so incomprehensible.

  • The intro is the absolute best.

  • 4:34-4:40 awesome.

  • that stairway reminds me of Shenmue

  • its so lovely

  • I love.

  • what is she sucking in from that hose? must be a narcotic of some sort.

  • @nikoleo9

that hose is for blowing, not sucking

  • la blogotheque nurtures my soul

  • She's awesome. Lookin for sounds

  • Awesome, so peaceful and simple! :D 5 Stars!

  • Just Great!

See how the guy carries the guitar without the belt! He sits, fixes him with a leg!

5* Cool video clip, nice images

  • i watched this a few months ago, and im so happy to see how many views its gained during that time. thanks blogotheque for introducing us to this amazing band :D

  • genious. there is no other word for this. or LaBlogotheque, just pure genius.

  • 録音がすばらしい

  • really charming

  • does anyone know which model melodica/pianica this is? im researching buying one and this one has a nice tone.

  • this is just great! beautiful!

  • uauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu best regards from spain teniscots

  • shes so cute, i love how the music moves her at 0:39

  • This is one of their best video so far. Why? the ambiance, the music, two very brilliant and happy artist and the fact that they're singing in japanese which, i believe, most people don't understand. well done la blogotheque

  • AWESOME!

  • It's so great how each la blogotheque video shares that one musical piece of brilliance. for instance in this it's the percussion of dropping the sticks down the stairs and dragging the melodica along the fence

  • First time I've thought that music is cute!

  • Although I have no idea what is it all about I really love that positive sound;)

  • Anybody know what the lyrics might mean?

  • @XCRunner88 my japanese is bad and it can be impossible to understand the meaning of words without seeing them written, therefore there is a good chance this literal translation is really bad. Aru atatakai senkou no ure (there exists a warm flashing melancholy/sorrow), ii nioi shite matatakunda (a fragrance twinkles/flickers), ashi moto kakeru (the place around ones feet/at ones feet hangs/gallops), mada dekai (still enormous) suijouki (vapor/sea plane) ganbatou (???) baibaba has no meaning

  • Oh, what a treat to stumble upon this. A rendition of my favourite Tenniscoats song seemingly done off the cuff for pure fun and enjoyment - bringing cute colours and happiness to a drab looking train station. Shame on the business man who passed by without any affection. Go Tenniscoats!

  • I love the way she adds in little noises here and there with the sticks or on the fence. It's a nice, real, childish quality to the music, but makes it so good!

  • wow. the sound is so good. what mics do you use? I like how the passing trains don't ruin their music. good job!

  • @SkeematicSpaz I, too, would really like to know where you guys mic'd her to get that quality from her voice

  • @nyumetsu

with wireless mics ! Like in documentary...

  • @francoisfromblogo ah, but where? I can't find the lavalier!

  • damn! I don't speak japanese, but that made me feel really good... communication between humans transcends regional language separation... music and laughter are universal common ground : )

  • this is amazing! im so ecstatic that you feature japanese indie artists! thank you for exposing us to such wonderful music : )

  • omg, it's incredible.i adore them.

  • wow, I'm completely blown away...

  • A slice of wonderful.

  • magical
