@remberme20007 That's just that particular neighborhood. When origianlly built they had detached garages but since they are about 60 yrs old many garages are now gone. (The are generally behind the houses with a long driveway.) We now live in a newer house with a garage so the Mazdaspeed is safe and comfy when the hail comes. lol

@MrMicraphone Great idea! We had more hail recently and I threw old comforters over but it wasn't quite enough to safe my P5 from the tiny dents (then again this storm did 10k in damages to my friends car about 2 miles away so it was more intense...that's without breaking any windows).

Yes. The roof and hood had enough damage for the insurance to say they both have to be replaced. There are dents in other areas as well. The windshield took a good hit and cracked on one side. The sad thing is we just spent over $5k getting her fixed after a bad car wreck. :*(

What is interesting is that hail that big means a very violent storm is above you. If your stuff does not get wiped from the hail, a tornado could take it all in a heartbeat. Great vid, thanks for posting!
