  • sucks

  • hey.. gotta say this is one of the best paintings iv ever seen. Few questions if thats not asking too much. Are you using acrylic or oil? and what material are you using to put the paint on? thankssss! :)

  • I MUST paint this!

  • freeze frame at 0:38 - looks like a skull! :)

  • such a good painting looks like a shamanistic journey. Very nice work

  • super!!

  • I LOVE THIS! BRILLIANT WORK!

  • ahh yeaeya check out my art at fine-art.com search marc allen

  • now this is something i would hang in a museum good job!!!!!!!

  • your paintings are really visually intense. the blast of color makes me want to punch myself in the face. amazing painting.

  • LOOKS AMAZING! How do you make that fiery color? I have been trying to figure that out forever...is it s deep red, followed by a light red then brilliant yellow? or is it deep red, followed by white with brilliant yellow...

  • @eeeeeeee1234555 thanx. The fiery color is sort of an illusion created by putting bright yellow brush strokes next to the red ones. I didn't mix a specific color, it just looks fiery orange because the red and yellow are right next to eachother.

  • Cool.

  • hi there i love your work it looks awsome........... i was hoping if you can take a look at my artwork and tell me wat you think........... comment and rate. thank you.

  • nice :)

  • vids like this make me regret not going for art, but in my chosen career, being able to make accurate sketches of flowers, leaves and such is a good compromise for me. :)

  • Cool!

  • i didnt like it at all. :/

  • out of all of the abstract paintings ive seen in youtube, id have to say that this one is the koolest and most imaginative of all. really great job. im a painter aswell and i know wat is good and wat is crap. and this is very good.

  • awesome...great technique, i'll definately be nicking that idea!!

  • super cool but didn't do it for me not much for them colors loved the dark background though

  • @bigtkettle

yeah i agree...better on the black background ay!

  • Very well done. I really enjoy working with dark backgrounds, but haven't done it much lately. Perhaps it is time.

  • kewl

  • WOW! Beautiful depth, color and technique! Well done!

  • the black background has a great effect. Nice painting Lindsey.

  • this is beautiful

  • Nice : )

  • mmmm i love the colours, ive learnt something too about the plastic bags thats an awsome idea.red and gold together its pretty sultry stuff

  • love this, very nice choice of colors, I really like this one you have very nice talent.

  • This is damn good. From the spiritual realm.....

  • nice painting. i would like that painting on my wall.

  • This is a very nice painting Lindsey. This is the first video I've seen of yours. I love this painting because it is so detailed and complex. It makes me think about love, and our emotions that revolve around love. Some of the lighter colours make you think about the happy, wonderful feelings that love can bring. While the darker tones and strokes remind you of the painful sting that love can bring. It shows the light side of love and the darker side. It's beautiful.

  • wow, really cool. I would've never thought to use a plastic bag to paint with - what a cool technique.

  • were you using a sponge??

  • thats really nice lindsey.

  • It goes from a red skull to something you would see out in the universe, beautiful!!!

  • nice !

  • whats the song?????

  • it's an unfinished song i wrote. i don't have a title for it.

  • I like that - well done.

  • Loved it! Learned alot in your 2 min 13 sec. 5* I am not an artist, but I love all kinds of art. From a simpletons view your painting is beautiful. Thank you.

  • wow, this kind o' suck... it's just random without any thoughts behind it... I do really like abstract paintings... but this is isn't very artistic.

  • Are you being serious? Look at it again...

  • ahahah even if there was no meaning which there obviously is....(read the title of the painting).... it would still be a f-ing cool painting none the less

  • There a fair amount of disturbance in that painting.

    Nice work.

  • awesome!!!

  • "I'm using pieces of plastic bags to paint with"

YEAH! I enjoyed reading that line in your description. Good luck with your future work, I really enjoyed watching this. I think the black lines made it look even more awesome

  • holy FUCK!

    you just blew my mind

  • Very good!

  • abstract art is hard. its looks easy but really hard to think of what your going to do

  • It kind of depends on the person. When I do abstract, it just comes to me and I do it as I go. =P

  • this is so awesome, i like the other one with the circles. im in an adnavced paiting class and my teacher showed the class this video and another on of yours, an i was just stunned. amazing work.

  • thanks, and thanks for telling me about your teacher that is really cool :)

  • Amaze Inn

    -Appreciate

  • Nice. I appreciate abstracts that have form to them. That may sound contradictory, but I enjoy seeing something more than splattered paint titled abstract. I myself paint abstract/urban works, so I like seeing somewhat with good talent who also builds forms from the lines they express.

  • looks satanic :P

  • well i believe in satan. he was actually commanding me to do those brush strokes as an act of submission. he does this to me all the time. he told me he would only let me live if i posted the results on youtube but still he was not satisfied.

lol, just kidding i'm a goddamned atheist :)

  • what tools were you using it looked like a clot of a sort and something else?

  • it's a piece of a plastic bag crumpled up and then i used a paintbrush.

  • Wow you are very talented. I would love to see more of your work!

  • Thank so much for sharing Lindsey!God bless ya:)

  • so bad ass ! come paint my walls in my house please . great job

  • cool. very awesome painting.!

  • at about one min. into it I though it was gonna be a skull painting.

  • I thought the same xD

  • me too xD

  • Wow! Thanks for sharing!

  • Wow! That was wonderful!

  • Beautiful works here. :) Glad to have found you!

  • Watching you work is hypnotic! Beautiful creation!

  • That's cool. I actually liked it better when you first started out and the bright red splashes were intensely contrasting the jet black background. When it got more complex it overpowered my tiny little brain. The music is funky, just the way I like it. 5 stars!

  • thanks! Sometimes when I look back at the video I like the painting better in the beginning stages too :)

  • I liked the beginning part too... something about the extreme colors - the red and black pattern was particularly striking. And that music - definitely my kind of sounds. Where did you get so much talent? Grins and stars to you! :D

PS - I liked your original channel icon better ;-]

  • Lindsey, you are an amazing artist, how do you achieve this, what kind of paint are you using and you don't require brushes for this piece? Thanks Lindsey, once again you're a great artist!

  • thanks. I didn't use a brush in the beginning but I used one later on. I was using a crumpled piece of plastic bag for the beginning (it makes a nice texture.)

  • thats great

  • you miss have talent

  • do you sell your painting, if you don't you should. BTW Nice mucis.,

  • nah it didn't sell, but I think I might keep it because I like it too much to sell it. Thanks about the music :)

  • if you would sell it what do you think the price would be?

  • Hi, I actually just put it on ebay. My ebay ID is lindseycormier. I have a store with lots of paintings for sale, I start them all at one cent so you decide the price :)

  • thats nice i wish u good luck on ebay

  • Did you imagined the form in your head or it happend like that?

  • I started out just painting random shapes, then I saw a heart shape at the top and decided to paint another one on the bottom :)

  • Very beautiful.I can see 2 hearts :)

  • Thanks :) Yes, there are two hearts.

  • I'm going to feature it on my channel! Awesome! :)

  • thanks :)

  • Awesome painting Lindsey! What did you use to make the highlights in this yellow color? It doesn't look like as a brush.

  • Thanks Sven! For most of the painting I'm using a crumpled piece of plastic bag. It makes a nice texture.

  • Really cool! Well done.

  • Thank you :)

  • ooh, it was looking very skull like at the start!

    it turned out wonderfully!
