hey.. gotta say this is one of the best paintings iv ever seen. Few questions if thats not asking too much. Are you using acrylic or oil? and what material are you using to put the paint on? thankssss! :)
LOOKS AMAZING! How do you make that fiery color? I have been trying to figure that out forever...is it s deep red, followed by a light red then brilliant yellow? or is it deep red, followed by white with brilliant yellow...
@eeeeeeee1234555 thanx. The fiery color is sort of an illusion created by putting bright yellow brush strokes next to the red ones. I didn't mix a specific color, it just looks fiery orange because the red and yellow are right next to eachother.
hi there i love your work it looks awsome........... i was hoping if you can take a look at my artwork and tell me wat you think........... comment and rate. thank you.
vids like this make me regret not going for art, but in my chosen career, being able to make accurate sketches of flowers, leaves and such is a good compromise for me. :)
out of all of the abstract paintings ive seen in youtube, id have to say that this one is the koolest and most imaginative of all. really great job. im a painter aswell and i know wat is good and wat is crap. and this is very good.
This is a very nice painting Lindsey. This is the first video I've seen of yours. I love this painting because it is so detailed and complex. It makes me think about love, and our emotions that revolve around love. Some of the lighter colours make you think about the happy, wonderful feelings that love can bring. While the darker tones and strokes remind you of the painful sting that love can bring. It shows the light side of love and the darker side. It's beautiful.
Loved it! Learned alot in your 2 min 13 sec. 5* I am not an artist, but I love all kinds of art. From a simpletons view your painting is beautiful. Thank you.
ahahah even if there was no meaning which there obviously is....(read the title of the painting).... it would still be a f-ing cool painting none the less
YEAH! I enjoyed reading that line in your description. Good luck with your future work, I really enjoyed watching this. I think the black lines made it look even more awesome
this is so awesome, i like the other one with the circles. im in an adnavced paiting class and my teacher showed the class this video and another on of yours, an i was just stunned. amazing work.
Nice. I appreciate abstracts that have form to them. That may sound contradictory, but I enjoy seeing something more than splattered paint titled abstract. I myself paint abstract/urban works, so I like seeing somewhat with good talent who also builds forms from the lines they express.
well i believe in satan. he was actually commanding me to do those brush strokes as an act of submission. he does this to me all the time. he told me he would only let me live if i posted the results on youtube but still he was not satisfied.
That's cool. I actually liked it better when you first started out and the bright red splashes were intensely contrasting the jet black background. When it got more complex it overpowered my tiny little brain. The music is funky, just the way I like it. 5 stars!
I liked the beginning part too... something about the extreme colors - the red and black pattern was particularly striking. And that music - definitely my kind of sounds. Where did you get so much talent? Grins and stars to you! :D
PS - I liked your original channel icon better ;-]
Lindsey, you are an amazing artist, how do you achieve this, what kind of paint are you using and you don't require brushes for this piece? Thanks Lindsey, once again you're a great artist!
thanks. I didn't use a brush in the beginning but I used one later on. I was using a crumpled piece of plastic bag for the beginning (it makes a nice texture.)
Hi, I actually just put it on ebay. My ebay ID is lindseycormier. I have a store with lots of paintings for sale, I start them all at one cent so you decide the price :)

It kind of depends on the person. When I do abstract, it just comes to me and I do it as I go. =P
