Id give it up mate. Stun guns are illegal under the firearms act 68 (or 57), this act also outlaws pepper spray, even though its non-lethal. I no your pain but her logic is very different to ours. In other words, she thinks that weapon bans mean crims wont carry weapons, and she can control crime with paper laws, how silly.

Mrs Thatcher simply did what any good PM needed to do and that was kick the nationalised industries into touch because they were costing billions to run and needed private investment to improve.

She smasghed the unions because they held too much power.

my mothers house was shot at with a ball bearing gun by kids messing about

she called the police they gave her an incident number

she was called later that week by a community liason officer who told her not to takle any youths outside her home and that bb guns were not easy to get hold of and it was probably a catapult. No police/commuity support called at her house to even see the damage. Shes 63.

Gun crime may be down, but it is still rife. And in the face of that, samurai swords are threatened with banning? All this proves is that: 1.banning weapons does not bring them off the street 2.The government is gunning for weapons so rarely used in crime and whose prime use is by martial artists as practice instruments!

As for PCSOs they have little effect on crime and are often bullied by gangs. When will the government carry out a cost benefit study of PCSOs especially in this era of government spending cuts.

You have dramatically increased paper work in the last 5 years not cut it. On top of that you have cut police responce team numbers dramatically increasing time to get to 999 calls. This gives criminals a free run of the streets as the few remaining police are tucked up will calls. The police have become soley reactive with proactive skills dying out.

Police deserve nothing more than what they are currently getting.most love the power they get and love to use it.I took a picture of 2 policemen with my phone once and was then stopped, detained and searched under the terrorism act.what a waste of time they love harrassing teenagers.

An Australian type immigration point system will only work if we apply it rigorously like the Aussies. No-one calls them racist - just sensible & protective of their country's assets.I mix in a large circle of people of all social classes & all feel the same - THE NONSENSE NEEDS TO STOP!
