I'm surprised you hadn't tried sending extras of pots and other items you know of back to the Valley Inn and writing down what order you send them in.
I don't if I really agree with Pekeji,I always found O-Ryu to be much more useful in most situations, but then again he probably just scarred me when I died from one his mis-aimed punches.
i found that pekeji is actually the key to getting really far. i ran into to pekeji tons, and every time he got killed, but he got stronger. soon, he could hyt 25's. a funny thing happened once. an evil soldier died and lvled up a rice changer into a boss, and then the boss changed pekegi into a riceball, and soon killed him. then he lvled up into a rice master! i then used a dragon herb on it and i got enough xp 2 go to lvl 15!
