  • Better safe than sorry.

  • damn every mornin before i take off is make shure all the beer bottles are cleaned up so i wont take one in between the fuel tanks or on the side steps, you dont wana get pulled over by D O T or portables hangin over with empty bottles everywhere

  • Hey how many trucks have you have over all the vids and are they YOURS for every trip or a diffrent truck every trip?

  • are you in bc

  • @altafmohal This was. Moved to the US about three yrs ago

  • @seansuth what's that truck.?

  • @kekecom Peterbilt 386

  • That is called PRI TRIP INSPECTION

  • good

  • Having been a busdriver for eight years in public transport, I ALWAYS pre-tripped my ride of the day before pulling out. Walk around, inspect the tires, lights, and body for defects or damages.

    Nice video, Sean!

  • I like how the people running the camera are making fun of you, and you left that in the video.

  • @the18wheelman yeah, blood brothers always give eachother a hard time. Especially when one is a trucker, and the other is a bus driver

  • 61 tons it's a big load

  • Hey that great !! Now if we can stop dropping trailers in the fire lane we'll all be happy!

  • Great. Now if you can actually tell me what you were smoking when you left that comment...I'll be happy!

  • I quit smoking a year ago..but yea, dude chill out, just beefing! Alway right on the defensive side eh? I've beeh there for 5 years now,(Chips in Chilliwack) anyways as for what I was saying, its just annoyig that trailers are just getting dropped along WCA gates you know we want to leave the yard all open for the trash cans, are you still at arrow? Kinda cool got to see such familair vid, keep up the good work. I use to do tons when I trucked with Can AM,

  • I was there as a summer job. Tried doing the local gig, but missed the hwy. I can agree with you about the drivers dumping along the fence, but I never did. I re read the comment and see the "we" now. I apologize, I thought it was a comment directed to me. Yeah, I do get defensive. I have a clean record, and tyr to be as professional on the road as can be.

  • if i hear his voice, i've standing following: sixty one thousand seven hundred and sixty one kilograms - it follows also 61,76 tons and not 16 tons - see the truck, it's a double trailer. (if he's not empty xD) i spend my respect, at this responsible truck driver, they are an enrichment for the community. ;-)

  • hahah yes they are rare ive done one in three weeks!!

  • Sean whats up I have a twin brother we team drive, u should make some more videos with steve. we fight sometimes u know what I mean, keep on truckin

  • lol only 16 tons, omg, we drive like 32tons of chicken shit, and our trucks are smaller :|

  • 16 tons? do the math, 140,000 lbs it 70 tons dipshit

  • yeah rigth....... it's not cool to pretend you know.....

  • i thought bobel pulled those trailers

  • If I can remember Bobel said Bobel on the side of most of their trailers. But it's been so long since I've done that and my memory isn't good...

  • bobel lost garbage contract then

arrow got this contract all this trailer owned by garbage wm

  • great...but unfortunately...in my country you can't leave the dor open...it's a pretty big risk...i just wash my windshield before i drive:))i would love to drive a truck some day

  • It depends where you are here. In this secured yard, it's ok. The truckstop down the road... wouldn't suggest it

  • i will not vouch for the comment before mine, i am a bus driver and i get very dirty i do a full pre trip no matter what and i will even give more thought to my pre trip when im a truck driver cuz truck drivers are out on the road alot longer then us bus drivers , just the mechanics never fix it when i write it up GO ATLANTIC EXPRESS!!!!

  • Day Cab, Not a full trucker, Where`s your sleeper?

  • On my Pete 387, 379, FL Centry Class, Colombia, before and after this local summer job

  • im not taking any offense to what your brother said because he is almost right..not quite but almost....I have to say though that bus drivers...especialy tour bus drivers are some of the scariest people on the road...you know how tour bus drivers wear those white button up shirts? have you ever wondered how they do a propper pre trip on a vehicle carrying dozens of people with out getting even the slightest smudge of dirt or grese on those nice white shirts?

  • Yeah, it was in inside joke more than anything. But you are right. I was tour driver for four years. The reason I'm not anymore, safety. Most busses I would get into Would have problems, no one saw before... For the reason you mentioned. Then, the companies looked the other way

  • arrow truck eh , you ever drive through merritt british columbia

  • No, I had the Cache Creek run from Vancouver

  • What part of canada are you in ?

  • It was BC

  • Most drivers pre-trip is: The truck starts, the radio works, the A/c works, release brakes, drive off.

  • Don't forget a tug test... Ya' gotta make it look good...lol

  • most bad drivers maybe

  • 140,000 G ? Man, you illegal

  • No I'm not. If you don't know anything other than your own local laws, check them out

  • Ok, I thought this was in US, so excuse me. Don't be so retarded.

  • were you a local driver when you were with arrow??????/

  • Yeah, daily runs, home every night. I couldn't handle it

  • OH It seemed tricky to back up but i guess ur right with time it gets easier:P

  • double trailer how hard is it to back that up lol

  • Actually, once you do it, it come naturally. I never got enough experience to be pro at it, but it's just as easy as a single...eventually

  • once you've managed it once you never forget how to do it...

  • Hi Sean, this is great what you did, I see that you've been driving a B double, it would be great if you upload any clip when you reversing it. Ye

  • waste of fuel? it costs more in fuel to shut that thing down and fire it back up than it would to let it idle! many reasons you let your tractor idle, to keep air constant instead of leakage, to listen for noises and leaks all the time etc! get your head of your ass, cause obioviously you dont have a cdl!!!

  • very nice video!! keep posting and HAMMERDOWN brother!!

  • To the guy talkin about a "waste of fuel". How much fuel would be wasted if ya tip over, and spill it all over the highway? Just a thought...

  • what i see is a waste of fuel..

  • Perhaps you should then take back ALL items you have, inclusing your computer and clothing, and hold on to you garbage. You'll see the "waste of fuel". Hey post some videos so we can that your not justa "waste of time"

  • Hi Sean, this is great what you did, I see that you've been driving a B double, it would be great if you upload any clip when you reversing it. Ye

  • Waste of Fuel? what do u do in your vehicle start it up and floor it.. your supposted to let your vehicle "warm up" before you take off.. otherwise u can do some serious damage to the engine overtime...

  • It's called a Pre-Trip inspection, and you are required by law to perform it before EVERY trip you take. Letting the engine warm up and the air fill up is probably a good idea before you put it in gear and haul ass!

  • sean is one of the best truckdrivers i know you kick ass bro

  • Seran i heard you say logbook at the end of the film. Have you done a vid on filing in the log book?

  • Actually, Im in the middle of editting a log book tutorial. But I need to shoot a few more shots. There's too much info for one video tho... It's a three parter

  • ahh good stuff. By the way I typed your name wrong sry, looks odd. haha.

    thanks matey!

  • Did you decide to scrap this? I, for one, would find it really helpful as I study. I hear guys talking about logging things on line 1, 2, 3, or 4, and I'm like, what? Then there's all the HOS regulations. Geez! a logbook tutorial would be awesome if you ever get the time to work on these again.

  • Never got around to redoing it. I will oneday hopefully soon, but prob not before the ice roads

  • Hi Sean, this is great what you did, I see that you've been driving a B double, it would be great if you upload any clip when you reversing it. Ye

  • Hopefully wont be to long on the tour, not sure how i am going to do it but i get a lot of request everyone wants to see . take care seansuth

  • very nice video.Seansuth after makeing a video on a tour of my truck ill be doing a tutorial on trucking. take care trucker steve.

  • cool cant wait

  • Don't worry about what your brother said man. Its only certain drivers that don't do pre-trips. And I think you know what drivers I'm talking about.

  • ha ha yeah. and that's what he meant too. also on my "rolled over" vid I accidentally removed your commment. but no it was not an Arrow. it was a competitor, that is knowen for bad drivers

  • Nice to see some stuff around the driving.

Do you pick up trailers that're already loaded, or do you load them yourself?

Sounds like the weight are the same as for my truck when it's loaded with wood chips, around 60 000 kgs (wich is the maximum weight in sweden).

  • it depends on when you start your day. I start out going northbound, so the trailer was preloaded by the driver before me. I take that up, switch with a load of wood chips, preloaded, take that down to the lower mainland, tip the truck to empty, then go load it full of garbage for the other driver again. If you start south bound, you tip and load first, then head up to switch trailers and leave to chips for the next,..every one underrstand my long winded-ness???

  • Yeah I see!

  • Still doesn't answer the question "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

  • not enough to fill even those dry bulk trains...much less a logging set. save the dumbass questions for your friends. :D
