You make it look so easy. I'm doing a Fetec 3 in ISL and I'm finding that the A-Z sheet we were given and what you are doing kinda different. I'm continously watching this video over and over to perfect my A-Z.
@anthonyheaney2008 Hi there, thank you for checking out the video... I am unsure what you mean, its Irish Sign Language, it is an language in itself entirely... It can be translated to either I presume but it is the deaf sign language used in Ireland only... It is not british sign language, I dont know if that helps?! :) :)
I'm from New Zealand and am currently learning NZSL, I decided to check out your video to see if any of the fingerspelling signs are the same. Our alphabet is two handed though, so unfortunately no signs cross over :( I think it's really interesting looking at different countries sign languages and comparing them, seeing if any signs do cross over though. :)
@jofasis thank you so much for checking it out :) Yup I love looking at other countries sign lingos, each are so unique and some cross over a tiny bit (Like Irish sign is made up from both American and french sign lingos so there is a lot of crossover there but again quiet different in syntax but all fun to use and watch :) :)
@Chealder Hi there, nope, all sign languages are different from different countries :) Irish sign language is made up from both french and american sign, so there are similarities but still very different languages in syntax and form :)
The irish signlanguage alphabets differ so much from the finnish ones!! It´s totally like another world. Nice to see this video, thanks for loading ;)
@vegeboyx hey thank you for checking it out, yeah I love looking at other sign languages, the arabic and japanese ones are amazingly different too :) :)
@Dontcallmebones Hey there :) I say, "Hello, How are you? I want to show you A B C, Now. A, B, C, D... etc! :) at the end after Z, I say, " Thumbs up, Now, you T R Y!" :)
@exFLOWsion so sorry for the delay in getting back things have been crazy (I am lette writing back on my other account!!) I actually dont know the sign for pheasant but ill go look for you :) :)
The little I remember of sign lamguage I learned over twenty years ago was different, the fingers and thumb of you left hand were the five vowels and you pointed to the one you wanted. What version on sign was that. Unfortunately that's about all I can remember.
I am Deaf & Irish- American . I am used Irish Sign language and ASL. coolest! : )
