Stock blocks, cranks and heads can be used. Of course, the heads will need porting. ARP hardware, Manley Rods and Pistons, springs and a select cam. Block girdle is recommended for applications above 1500hp.

106mm turbonetics turbo with 40lbs of intercooled boost *should* put out around 2300hp

@halohadel nope not that easy. no bolt on turbo will put a car in the 8s. you gotta build with it or it wont flow that much. the heads have to flow along with the cam to push the fuel for a bigger explosion in the cylinder. the turbo would help a stock motor but not that much. 8s are very fast in the qr and if you would go to the strip to see one you would see how ridiculous you just sounded. typical kid talking cars in need for speed land...

@ry1991ca bud a 4.6L mustang cobra crank and block will hold 2500hp. Talk to Sean Hyland, Accufab Racing, MMR, etc.

Stock 4.6 32v heads, stock crank, stock block

add manley rods and pistons, and it will hold to around 1500hp according to Sean Hyland.

The funny thing is, at that level of hp, the rods will give out first. The block and crank will take even more.

Ford modular engines don't need that much duration, especially with boost.

With a 4.6L 1500hp, with chrome rings, you can expect around 50,000 street miles before the crosshatching is non-existent.

i put on dart pro 1 2.08s and Its a small block 383 putting out 680hp and 600tq with dyno sheets on motor. has a 1000cfm quick fuel with a 303 700lift cam. it goes in a 1900 lb car so nines is more that believable.
