  • when i had my course. they gave me a note pade to write down some notes while listening

  • that was TAFESA / city campus

  • which school did you go to? dear :D

  • The interpreter did very good he was very calm and confidant

  • Well done, this video was really useful because I'm thinking of doing an interpreting postgrad course (english is my mother Tongue), but was wondering what level of arabic i should realistically have arrained but thus looks fine. where did you do this exam? Just that I'm looking at the various universities for interpreting and would it be the case that an Arabic speaking locutor uses clear standard arabic and not dialect? Thanks

hi.. thanx 4 the nice comment.. ur arabic should be average & standard arabic is preferred ... i'm doing this diploma in adelaide tafesa / australia of course.. the good news is that it doesn't matter if you speak standard arabic or any other dialect.. bad news is that the teacher is lebanese but he tries to speak a dialect closer to arabic.. he's a great teacher and so helpful and i'm sure he'd take care of u.. but i'm not sure if tafesa is running this course nex year or not
