This is great footage. Unfortunately, Tammi must have gotten ill shortly after. It is amazing that there is only three sets of footage that I am aware of from these two singing. If someone has footage, it would be worth a lot. Fans of Tammi Terrell would love more of her. I have read in many places of where they were filmed but no one seems to know where it is and claims it to be destroyed. I do not believe this is true.
Me too, bringback10klf, I really wanna see Tammi IF i go to Heaven...
And again this clip was shot at Le Ronde in Montreal back in 1967 at Expo 1967. Anyboby who were in Montreal knows where Le Ronde is, it's just behind Tammi and Marvin and the phone booth.
Blacks should be ashamed of themselves for the dreck filth they produce today. But they allow Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to speak for them so I'm inclined to believe they are incapable of shame. Congratulations, Black America!!
@TheAwokenMind No apology needed. Your assumption was correct and Brown Sugar253 gave you an incorrect reply. The video was filmed in Montreal, CANADA at the World's Fair - Expo '67 so, yes, it was cold there.
Let me correct you homie, they werent inside the studio..they were outside the Disneyland's theme park...Cant you see the background? the people walking, the train or tram overhead, the phone booth, etc.
all my friend think I'm weird having this on my mp3. They just don't know how beautiful this classic is.... Thank you for putting up this amazing quality video... I appreciate it.
I just want to say, I love what you are doing here, great stuff really. I dig all the music. I do have one question:
Most of this stuff is going to be broadcast quality which is less than 720p. Why upload it so big? do you have access to the original 16mm? I guess I don't really see the point in making it bigger than 480p. That is broadcast standard quality for regular TV even today.
Anyway that is my question and those are my comments. thanks for the great music!
@jimmyscratch I'm sorry, but I don't have much knowledge about that. The song is taken from an official release, so I guess it's the original masters.
Always gets me in the back of the throat this video. You can see the love in both of their eyes. Cannot think of any video that has the same GENUINE visuals.
Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell both gone now. Sad but will NEVER be forgotten.

Come on...These two totally were in love with each other...You can so tell! I like to think that they are in Heaven together...and still in total love too!
This is just the right song and the right singers to say to your lover "Ain't no mountain high enough"...sorry to say both singers are goners and both should rest in peace.
This song and it's sentiments will live on for centuries to come. How glad I am to be alive in the same time and space as Marvin & Tammi were.
I love how disinterested in him she looks, but then when she starts singing her face just lights up.

Yep, the little gal had a great voice and a bright future. Sad indeed. MG was a true talent. Too bad he went out like he did.

@jimmyscratch 16 MM film? Try 2-inch quadruplex videotape, hence the color , the very high quality of the performance, and the lack of static.
