Then came along Ryanair and Aer Lingus tried to do them out of business! Aer Lingus is now part owned by Ryanair and they have to offer the same fares as Ryanair!

not sure about aerlingus the only reason they are starting the snn lhr route again is because of ryanairs offer to buy them...ireland is bigger the just dublin somebody should tell them.
seeing that they are in the process of moving their operations out of the republic and letting go most of their irish staff it's a bit rich to still call them the flag carrier airline.maybe they should chamnge the shamrock to a euro sign!!!
