Air intake temp goes up, and that automaticly shuts the turbo boost pressure down, as a safety matter...

I always enjoy people who underrate the BMW M5 and M6. I rember when the BMW M5 first came out and E class AMG owners were laughing at it because of the lack of torque. First straight line test was an M5 with 4 passengers vs a W211 E55 with 1. The M5 walked it.

I would have preferred the M6 to get more power though (thought it was getting a 5.5l 550hp V10) to further distinguish it from the M5, but even with the current engine it's still holding its own.

I've seen multiple races on the internet between SL65's and M5's and M6's. The M6 vs SL65 race I saw was a 1/4 race where the M6 had a higher trap speed. The M5 race vs SL65 was about even.

Yes, I remember that race the year before last against the SL65 as well. We started that race at 70 km/h instead of the normal 50 km/h. I bounced the limiter in first and lost a lot of ground at the start. That race the Gugan88 posted is from Gustav's video. It was the closest race the SL65 driver and I had. All others we did were similar to the one posted here.
