Spacelink lost its dish passing over a bridge near Tunkhannock (the metal arch type bridges) in 1988 and was repaired. I left in 89 and don't know what happened after that, I do believe I heard Diversified Communications sold it prior to selling the station to the group that then stripped the heart and soul out of the station and killed it.

I liked the opening & theme song, but a little FYI on the "spacelink 22" truck. It was totaled in a crash when it tried to pass under a low bridge.

@jkminnich No joke...the guy that runs WYOU says he now regrets the closure.

Nexstar's 65 stations are up for sale. Let's hope good buyers split WYOU and WBRE. But now every single Nexstar-Mission duopoly is in one plant.

WYOU have been the leader in cheeze since I was a kid. It still is out of the 3 network affiliates we have here in Wilkes-Barre.
