Obama has said that offshore drilling would not benefit America one bit. This is totally ridiculous. Obama is also opposed to drilling in Alaska.
It would take a minimum of 10 years before the U.S. realized the first drop of oil reaped from additional drilling. Even if we sucked up all of the oil we allegedly have in these areas, it won't hardly last us for even six months. We need other solutions.
