I am from Canada and I hunt. Now I hunt for food and only animals deemed by conversation officers and wildlife biologists that are deemed accepted for the preservation of myself and more importantly other animals. Now POACHERS, hunt the majestic and endangered animals for no other reason other than sport and money.... these people have no respect for life, and more importantly need to be shot.

Yes human life is more important than that of an animal, but if a poacher resists/provokes an attack then of-course the game guards have the right to protect themselves too. Also one must remember that many pple depend on the continued survival of game too, so why should a poacher take priority over them?
