I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I CAN PLAY, I WAS NOT ABLE TO PLAY CUZ MY CONTROLLER KEEP TO BE 1 PLAYER,SO IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT TO PLAYER 2,HERES A TUROIRAL:

First plug in ur controller before the game start.

Then when the game is loading (not loading the map) unplug and plug it back again!!

If it doesnt work,KEEP DOING IT UNTIL THE GAME HAS FINISHED LOADING.

It works for me :D

Wait idiot, did you upload the ini file with PAD1 already changed to PAD2? Because then you're confusing everyone since that is already set.

Quick Question can "YOUF" or "SOMEONE YOU'VE SEEN", play splitscreen with two keyboard, two mouses?

@EfrenRed No two mouses wont work.. unless you find a program so you can have two mouses having two diffenrent cursors, working at the same time. ANY game would work in splitscreen. As a Programmer, i can Make some non-multiplayer games working in multiplayer by creating a server program.

how come you have 2 controllers in the tocaedit and one has no buttons configured and the other one is the actual pad? Cause i only have 1 controller and not only when i launch the split screen i get the gamepad and the mouse/keyboard in one half of the screen, but also the second analog doesent work?? PLEASE HELP

UNPLUG and RE-PLUG the the controller/gamepad WHILE the MAP is LOADING as QUICK as u can it will be controlling player 2. if it doesnt work then retry it again.

@Donaldbeebi how fast did u do it? well it has a higher chance to work if u use the xbox 360 wired controller. lower for gamepads and stuff. another method:if u have 2 gamepads then plug both and the second one plugged should be the one that controls player 2(if not that means the bindings isn't correct).

It says Controller 1 is working... But it can't find the controller 2 ... and when I play in l4d2 I can controll only player 1 but with the controller I only can move (the same person with the keyboard) SO .... How the fuck can I make it Work?!

@aalleexx45 Are you running it off steam? :)

If so just open Steam, Right Click on L4D2, Select Properties, Select 'Set Lauinch Options and Write "-Console" without the "-marks, press ok, close the poperties, and that should do the trick ;)

If it ain't working I don't understand cause it works on all games (Valve games atleast) ;)

But then u actually just have to make a shortcut to the game executable which is left4dead2.exe and in properties where it says something with target write " -console" and remember the " " (space xD) and agin without the "-marks :)

dude i need help.. look i do everything, i start the game, then ss_map and choosing then exec splitmode.txt and then it split my screen.. i can move only the 1 player.. there are 2 players but i can only move the one with Keyboard and mouse.. the 360 controller is showng that is player one but it doesnt do nothing.. what to do?? help plz

I have a problem, you see on xbox controller you have a light that shows if you are playing as player one, two... well you click that and you change between the 2 players on the screen, with my joystick, i dont have that kind of button, so how can I solve that ?

@neringuteaaa in the ini did you wrote [PAD1] at the place of [PAD2] and [PAD2] to [PAD1]??

in the video i already chanded it . youll see... at the very top of the ini there will be written

pad 1 with all the buttons that you set. change pad1 to pad2 and then find the real pad2 with its settings and change it to pad1.u

@madgamerz104 yeah i do have an alienware aurora i7 930 ati radeon 6800 series HD 12 gb of ram 5.1 sound system 24 inches screen 1TB hard drive Killer Xeno pro network card Sound Blaster Xtreme audio sound card thats amazing but the entire kit with a 3 year warranty costed about 3000$ but i guess ill be able to max out games for a while like crysis 2 and im also able to install 2 games at the same time. and did you know that windows media player have a plugin for alien Fx ... its just amazin
