@asianboi1216 thats just because how far out to the corners those massive tires are... just part of the design (if its a H1). Both the H1 and the jeep are great rigs, different in their own respects. However the cost between the two being so large, I think a lightly modded jeep is the way to go, in my opinion.
Sweet! And by the way, I am a Hummer owner. I think I'm one of the few on YouTube that thinks you should love what you drive and wheel it how you want. Jeeps rock!
They are strong, I dont care what you call them. And its better to have those messed up than your front end, or back end messed up. I say leave em on till they fall off or you get a lift with big tires.
ziaholic i have a 06 jeep unlimited rubi., i hate those plastic thingis mine ben my bumper the first time i took it offroad took them off right away, the bumper is better off without them. Also did you had problems with the oil pan as the unlimted is longer its easy to dent it or damage it as mine was i didnt even know when wish jeep came with all the skid plates like toyota costed 500 bucks to get it changed. GOOD VIDEO MAN
That video is a 2-3 month old '05 ... aside from rock-sliders, it was bone-stock. Since then I replaced front/rear bumpers and lifted it 5.5". (see my other GoldenCrack video). and yes, my oilpan was (and still is) pretty smashed up from my pre-lifted rock crawling. I have a new one that will go in soon, but I don't touch it anymore, now that I'm lifted.
thanks for the info man, i used to have an 03 tj even without lift i never scraped the oil pan on unlimited its coz of the longer wheel base, did you have to drop the transfer case a few inches for a 5.5 suspension lift and how big are the tires and did u have to change the gears in the diffs for bigger tires
i'm glad i have a hummer. They have such nice clearance and approach and departure angles, so the bumpers will never hit anything

I agree with what you say. I am stuck with a Hyundai but it is fun no matter what!
