I like this rehearsal as it turned into a veritable acoustic session and after seeing the live show rendition that came later in the week, I like this version even better than that. What is also very evident is that the musicians are truly enjoying themselves while taking part in this song. Now that's signs of a good song when the musicians of a competition show are themselves enjoying it...

Ashlee Hewitt, should have totally won this thing, Coffey should have totallly been voted off a long time ago... he's so not country then again im kinda bias i guess considering Ashlee is my friend

He doesn't have much of a voice or style but I think this song would be a great Big and Rich song. Plus I know Coffey is a Texas guy so I have to root for him along with Mellisa and Gabe.

There's no way in hell that Coffey should have made onto Nashville Star. I'm not saying he can't sing, but his voice is pure pop...he should have tried out for American Idol instead.

no offense to coffey lovers out there but he should have been voted off a long time ago.. he has no where near the talent ashlee hewitt or gabe garcia has.. i dont know what the voters see in him that sounds good...he is awfull....

Wow. This was the first performance of his I actually enjoyed. I hope he's got more of this in his back pocket, because his covers have kind of sucked.

In addition to the acoustic renditions like "Let's Nake Love" and the mellow "I Fall Into Your Arms" and specially the beautiful "Young Love" and "Modern Day Hero" that I like so much... not forgetting the inspirational "My Heart's Desire" that effects me every time I hear the intro... and the whole arrangement.

This song is brilliant Coffey, the one I loved from all the original materials the final 5 put for the show tonight. I love the country arrangement by the great "Nashville Star" band that is visibly digging their playing in the rehearsals.

I also love the brilliant "Rock'n'Roll Sally", the wonderful "Memphis" (CD version and the live version in collaboration with the talented Josh Vietti), "Can I", "All Ye" (checked the one you did on Playboy), "You Gave Me All"... Man, if they only listen...
