Can someone please answer this: Has Mark reviewed Fallout 2? It's a classic game and I've searched on the channel but haven't found a review of it. I first started playing it this summer and hadn't even heard about it before I heard about Fallout 3, I liked it eventhough it's amost as old as I am. It's a classic game so I think it Mark really should review it if he hasn't. And I really hate myself for this. Thumbs up so Mark can see.

@ROCKBANDjohnny Not really. I have both games on my 360, and Skyrim's newer source engine is more powerful and can sustain more than Fallout 3's can. And when I'm playing Fallout 3 I occasionally run into a freeze or lag, which has never happened to me in Skyrim. Plus, the movements are far more fluid in Skyrim. I don't know what platform your playing on, but if it's PC it's probably because your PC can handle Fallout better than Skyrim. If it's a console, it's probably just a bad disc.

Currently. There is no more freezes or frame-rate issues, but graphics are still much better on the PS3. Many shaders from the streets and texture bodys still remain exclusive the PS3. Not so many know this. And not so many believe me. But i think there is a comparison in which they talk about the shaders. As for Fallout: New Vegas. The PS3 version is broken something similar to what's happening on Skyrim.

@video166 Fallout 1 and 2 and Brotherhood of Steel on the Xbox1 are made by Interplay. Interplay were making their own version of Fallout 3 to look and play just like Fallout 1 + 2 but I think they went bankrupt. It was always a post-apocalyptic RPG series. Then Bethesda(makers of Elder Scrolls) bought the rights since they saw potential in it. Bethesda made Fallout 3 just like they've made Elder Scrolls I, II, III, IV, and just recently V. Those are the only ones they've made this gen.

the 360 version tho has some holes in it cuz its on 2 dvd's and the 2nd dvd is the dlc that you install

Fallout 3 has got to be one of the most brilliant games ever created. Especially if you are a fan of old school science fiction, and dystopian fiction. Everything is stylized after how the future was imagined back in the 50's. The robots look like the one from Forbidden Planet, the clothes look like their from Mad Max!

@fan977 To each his/her own. I personally haven't gotten into Fallout 3. I easily was able to get into Oblivion, but Fallout 3 really made me sleepy. It gives no real direction as to where to go, it felt like a knock off of Oblivion, but with guns and wasteland. Unlike Oblivion though, it had no true direction to help with level ups. I hated going somewhere, just to find that I wasn't supposed to be there until a certain level, then get pwned by super mutants when all i have is a pistol.

I am serious. I am no troll or fan-boy. I actually bought Fallout 3 on Xbox cause i had Oblivion and Morrowind on them but then i decided to re-buy them on PS3 (Oblivion,Fallout 3) So i bought the GOTYs. But i tell you the PS3 versions are much better over Graphics. You probably know what Oblivion has (Better) on the PS3. Now Fallout 3's what i did see is that the ground on the PS3 the street has more cracks,bumps,rocks,dirt,and more shaders like tiny millions of shaders compare to the Xbox 360

@gMemo92 That's not at all true. Professionals who are paid to analyze these kind of things ALL agree that Bethesda games are much better looking on the Xbox 360. This is NOT because the 360 is more powerful, it's because it's easier to optimize and the PS3 version in general with Bethesda games is kind of an afterthought.

The Xbox version has a better draw-distance, less texture popping and better lighting effects. It's not even an opinion.
