  • dude, its a dell! lol

  • @otaku1229 You can say what you want but Dell monitors are (in my experiences) superior and very durable. And they're at least not so expensive as the ACDs. ;)

  • @DutchUnbox heh perhaps, my comment which was uhh almost a year old lol was an ill atempt at a joke from "Dude, your getting a dell" Commercials. But i think i'll stick with my LG monitors

  • I finally got the answer from Apple. Their Engineering department provided the following...

"Scanning networks can add time to the picker process, depending on the number of networks found. There is no way to turn it off. Only MacBook Air and newer Mac mini support this feature."

So if like me you have one of these 2 Macs and there are a lot of wifi networks nearby then it will take a long time to boot and there is nothing that can be done about it.

  • same experience here! Thanks for posting those forums, at least it did save us some work finding out no one has a solution.

  • i'm getting this as well, have you fixed it?

  • So far I've put posts on multiple web sites and have no answers. I've tried emailing Apple but they seem to be silent on it.

I have found that there are quite a few people who have the same experience.
