Speaking strictly about looks, does anyone else thing full suspension bikes are ugly as hell? Maybe they are better to ride but the HardRock and the Avalanche look a lot better.

mate ownes a gt i-drive 5 xc its ok had troubles with it creaking like an old garage door, but with a complete rebuild it was ok,, its ok for the money, personal experiance with gt's i-drive 5 is its high maintenance, i got a specialized stumpjumper fsr

i got a GT Chucker for £40. not bad really new front forks nd handle bars on nd does the job.

its a casuall problem, be sure to poot plenty of grees in it, and i use some thred lock

gt bikes in generall are ok but youd beter off going for norco or if you can afford it santa cruz. but this is just my prefurence

I'm not sure whether to go for the 2006 or 2008 model. Any ideas anyone? I've read that the 06 model is exactly 12kg whereas the 08 model is 13.6kg. Is this true?

Also, are small sized models much lighter than the medium ones?

well i can help you out out in that question of urs the 08 model is 17.8kg plus i perfer the 06 model anyway you have less problems with in the 08 madel they used cheaper parts to make it and they dont last very long at all (trust me my m8 had one and we cremated it like at a funeral)lol HOPE IT HELPS
