Yeah Les won't sleep hanging off a side of a mountain like Bear because that's stupid not survival. If you're truly trying to survive to get home why sleep hanging over a cliff? Les is real. Bear show boats and does needless stuff that the average guy would die trying to do.

Ok am i the only one who is confused by the fact that the guy made a sled to pull behind him to put gear and what not on why not put the battery on there to take with him so he can get a spark from the battery into the char cloth? It would take up room but wouldn't it be worth it? You should try to have as many options as possible with starting fire because it's never guaranted and would take alot less effort.

@xxCharismaticEnigmax he's shown in the past that there are beter ways to get out alive, but he does what he does so that a) it is a more entertaining survival show (thus getting more ratings, allowing him to earn a living) and b) so he can challenge himself. If he was actually just trying to get out, why the heck would he want to fake a broken arm?

why not cover the plane wreckage with tree branches and snow to insulate the cabin effectivley ? why not put a large piece of the metal he had to radiate the heat from the fire toward his sleeping position ? why not melt as much snow as possible on metal pieces from the wreckage during sunlight periods to save body heat and calories that are wasted from eating snow ? i'm not really impressed with this guy , he ain't gonna survive for long !!!!!

Yeah that bear guy only uses his show as a reason do do shit like jump out of helicopters and stuff. And he has admitted that when night falls he and his camera crew go back to the hotel.

@c23suzuki Look I respect both Les and Bear. But come on...Just how can a man fake sleeping off of a cliff, Literally, in the middle of Arizona? Furthermore, the Everglades is no joke. I'm from Florida, and people have been drug into the water and eaten by Gators, and Bear had the nerve to swim under water, in an alligator infested canal.

I'm going to go on the record and say Les will never do such a thing. He'll probably never sleep in a make-shift hammock off of the side of a cliff either.

@45below1 Bear has a crew of at least three other men around him at all times, filming, holding audio mikes, etc. in a behind the scenes video he made, he showed how during all the stunts he does, he's tied off to a safety line. Bear does things for show: if he had actually been surviving the swamps, he wouldn't have even tried getting wet to fish, he would have trapped fish like Les did. However, he got wet knowing that he could go back to the hotel and shower.
