  • Such a great man.

It's such a shame to see people so blinded by politics that they can't take a moment to realize that fact.

  • I wish this guy was still President.

  • Oh Ronnie, we miss you so!

  • termino una guerra sin una bala, acabo con la guerra fria

  • the varraxkalypse will end, and the obamanation of desolation as well. Then our ill-wishers will see what an eagle looks like again,

  • Lol "star wars"

  • Lol all the retards thinking raygun was good, LOL.

  • @mecher3k raygun? as in a gun that shoots rays? Well I assume you're talking about ray guns and not Reagan.

  • @trivipesnipe

Once again the right wingers prove just how retarded they are.

  • @mecher3k You're the one that can't spell Reagan libtard. Shouldnt you be sucking Nobamas dick?

  • Amazing man, amazing song, amazing country, from a Brit.

  • The Best!

  • President Reagan brought back a sense of pride in America. He drew a line in the sand and stated we would not budge. Truly great presidents do not get recognized until history has scrutinzed them. History should remember how President Reagan made us proud to be Americans at a time most were not.

  • I cried watching his funeral.

  • @KCTKOC Istill cry watching the videos on YouTube. He will always be THE President to me.

  • The last TRUE American president.

  • If only we had the ability to take and create for all mankind and especially this wonderful country of ours a place where we could grow Ronald Reagan 's for all times. When History etches into the fabric of our times, Ronald Reagan will go down as one of our Greatest Presidents. God Bless you sir, and rest in peace, you gave us a time when we were proud to be Americans.

  • Rest in peace Mr. President, we could really use a guy like you in these times...

  • We miss you Ron Reags.

    Mitt Romney 2012!

  • Richard Viguery was right when he called Reagan "a useful idiot" (for the American right wing). So many of the problems the country is dealing with today have their foundations during the 1980s and Reaganism. He really couldn't have known what his cronies were doing.

  • @PennTrafford you remind me a lot of Richard Viguery, you're both fucking idiots! And, the two of you probably admire Barney Frank's frank. Go trip-out on more LSD asswipe...

God bless Ronald Reagan, he was the best of the best!

  • @Polaris688 You werent born when the American Revolution started, therefore you cant have an opinion about it, cuz you werent there to see it by your own eyes. Fail Argument :)

  • @Polaris688 Im sure you werent alive when Jesus lived and i'd bet you are a Christian.

  • Well said Marksnotebook. Usually these comments are made by young people that weren't even alive when Reagan was President, but rather have been indoctrinated by the liberal professors and even public school teachers that our tax dollars go to pay. Sadly, I feel our best days are behind us as a nation and some of our BESTt days were during President Reagan's term in office. GOD BLESS RONALD WILSON REAGAN! An American's American! Thanks for caring and being large and in charge, Ronnie!

  • No, I didn't offer an argument to SOMETHING I DIDN'T READ. However, the comment of yours that I DID respond to tells me everything I need to know about your simpleton approach to history. No doubt, you ENJOYED the numb-nut Carter administration disaster that Reagan pulled us out of. No doubt, you're presently enjoying the statist insanity that is the Obama administration, as well. That's called MASOCHISM, dude. Look it up in your Funk & Wagnalls.

  • And i hope you do realize that his support to the "Freedom" fighters (talibans) of Afghanistan led to the 9/11 attacks in 2001. So yes, what a fucking great President.

  • It's a fact that the vast majority of the American citiziens got poorer while he commemorated the fall of the Berlin wall as something that its administration was responsible. In reality the Soviet Union collapsed by itself with no external pressures...but no,Reagan was the "liberator" of the world. His Neo-Conservative measures just ruined the American State, when he decided that the Will of Americans should be decided by the Market and not by the State.

  • Thank God that he died. Fucking criminal, he made the richer even more richer and the poor poorer.

  • @TheSeaSergeant Idiot.

  • @TheSeaSergeant If you got poorer during his administration, it's your own damn fault.

  • @MattWhatsGoinOn So yes, your absolutly right. Moron...

  • @TheSeaSergeant Keep your name calling to yourself, a-hole.

  • @TheSeaSergeant Oh, boo-hoo! "He made the richer 'more richer'. He's an F-ing criminal. Yada, yada, yada." ***He didn't die in office, so what difference does it make? You're going to die, too, in case you didn't realize that.

And that out to increase the collective IQ of the world's population a few notches. Why do I bother responding to your garbage? Because your delusional sickness deserves it.

  • @MattWhatsGoinOn The fact is that you dont have a counter argument about the support to the Talibans or to any of Reagan's Market Liberal policies. Americans...seriously,learn some history and than form your opinions. I dont know how old you are or what your citizienship is, but i seriously dont care...you dont have the least idea of what the Reagan Administration was. Take Care ;)

  • Every time somebody posts to this site and says such wonderful things about this man Reagan who was so desperately needed, as Lady Liberty cried out, I weep as so many sacrificed so much to save this great nation! Our country aches for another strong leader! Oh God hear our prayer! We ask for another courageous person to lead us through these terrible times. Rid us from this wretched evil we have presently! Grant us a good man (woman) to lead this nation in 2012!

  • Every time somebody posts to this site and says such wonderful things about this man Reagan who was so desperately needed, as Lady Liberty cried out, I weep because I love this hymn and this man! Our country has a deep ache for another great leader! Oh God hear our prayer! We are asking for another Great President to lead us through these terrible times. Rid us from this wretched evil we have presently! Grant us one more all time great in Jesus name I pray! Amen!

  • Greatest President since Lincoln.

  • Such a wonderful man. Oh god how I wish we had President Reagan back right now.

  • @Marksnotebook May I say that is an understatement?

  • @Marksnotebook There's always some sorry sick perverted moronic lunatic who has no respect but just blurts out lies about a great man here and cannot even leave this site alone. Its repulsive. If I was able I would raise my fist (and I'm a big guy at 6' and 190 lbs) and smack whomever defames my President! BE GONE SATAN! ! !

  • @Marksnotebook I do too. 4 more years of Obama? God help us all. So much for this country...He is running it into the ground.

  • Every generation has a man they identify with as THE president. For my generation that man was Ronald Wilson Reagan. God bless him, a great man and a great president. I watched the whole funeral and cried the whole time.

  • @MrAmigoman Please explain your statement if you can....He was one of the most popular and effective presidents of modern time. He was elected in two of the the most historic elections in modern history. America loved him despite how liberals try to rewrite history.

  • @reagangal

    ALL HAIL BILL CLINTON!

GIVE THAT MAN A CIGAR! LOL!

  • @reagangal Preach on friend. An awesome man who I respect with every ounce of my soul.

  • @reagangal and a bad actor!

  • This is one of the most moving songs of all time in our last 150 years of history. And this president will always be remembered as a great one. The greatest one in my time. That is for sure. As a young man in the 1980s I felt safe, secure, and confident about our nation's future. Today I feel fearful, insecure, and have no confidence in our present government. If only we could find another man who like Reagan, has character, principles and values!

  • R. Reagan was a good comedian ;-)

  • @schwanzuslongus77 but a bad actor! lol

  • To fellow commentors, please consider simply ignoring pathetic comments posted by an obviously disturbed individual. By reacting to its neanderthal remarks you spur the creature on and feed its twisted desire for attention and reaction. It would be better to let it cry out in vain. History will show how great a president Ronald Reagan was - and the impact his life had on our world is only made more apparent when contrasted with the ignorant rantings of a pitiful soul.

  • Nancy looks so lost and tired. She stood beside him until his last breath. God love her for being beside the best president this country has ever known. God bless them all.

  • @MrAmigoman

I am digusted and shocked by such a wicked post.

The late President Ronald Reagan was a great President and man.

It the GOP is to take office again then it must find a man of similar calibre.

    Big G

  • listen to the cellphone ring at 3:31 ....... some people have no brains and no respect

  • @MrAmigoman Why don't you tell me where you are, so I can gut you, you dirty wet back.

  • @zjimmmmmmm

I'm right behind you my friend.....LOALA!

  • I long for another leader like Ronald Reagan , sad of what we have right now so unamerican

  • Youre in the special classes aren't you.

  • the death of a noble advisary, as a socialist, i respect him as an enemy and as a gentleman. the man had class , the man had a cause, the man had an idea. the man was a natural leader. And lead he did, he died with his idea. though i may not have liked it

    ...he was a hero...

  • nicely put...I wish all who have opposing political views could be as cordial then maybe the world would be a better place.

  • the evil spirits TREMBLE at this sound, because it is truth and they know it! They don't want you to know, no less believe. Of course you can choose...the consequences are yours to embrace.

  • gerard 1875, we do have such men and women. If Reagan taught us anything, the seeds of liberty and freedom in each our individual freedom resides in US!

It is up to each and every one of us to be a repository of the cherished values and timeless beliefs that Reagan merely lived by. We honor Reagan, every American man, woman and child and the millions of people around the world who want freedom and liberty

by teaching and living by these ideals. Fight for them with every breath!

  • A Great President and a Good man. If only we had such a man running the USA today and not the man we have.

    God Bless the USA

  • @gerard1875 He shall rise again! Trials bring strength, and the USA shall build one to carry on his memory! We are struggling, but it is teaching us truth. We shall remember, we shall not falter, and we shall not fail!

  • Still no langleywil?...tsk, tsk.

  • I see langleywil has failed to answer....typical

  • In the words of Shaq, tell me how your face tastes?

  • The 700 patients were indigent patients who could not pay for the necessary treatments. As to being an asshole, coming from the like of you, I'll wear it as a badge of honor, because unlike you, I have made a difference in a great number of lives, I have enjoyed each and every moment and plan on helping even more people achieve the necessary care and treatment that they need and deserve without a nanny state.

  • Yes, you can assume that you are the greatest person in all the land, but there are other people that do good in this world other than you! Again I say to you, 700 people may have had these treatments and gone on to great things, BUT THERE ARE MILLIONS MORE!!!!! What shall we do with them? Because they can't pay, shall we drown them? Burn them? What shall we do? So I won't ask how your face tastes, I'll ask you "How does it feel to be so heartless?"

  • Again, posted from emotion, not facts. Sure, the poor and the underprivileged have been with always. But to put your faith in universal health care is ignorant and stupid. A Government that gives something, is a government that can take things away. Ask native Americans about the Government and their promises. Heartless?, never! Compassionate and giving always.

your obsession with wealth and money shows your base insecurity in yourself and in your life. you are to be pitied. Seek help,

  • Try reading HR3200 on Universal health care. Read where the government can access you bank account to draft for fees on services it determines. Read how there will 33 different agencies that determine the level of treatment you would receive, by whom, and even if you would be eligible for care. Universal healthcare is about control, not health care. Read and learn young padawan....the life you save my be your own.

  • My Hero.......God gave him to us at a time when we needed him the most, after having to endure 4 yrs of the worthless one(Carter)...may God give us another, there must be someone in the wings to get us out the hole Obama is leading us to.

  • Reagan was one of the best prepared individuals to ever occupy the Oval office. As President of SAG, he saw first hand the practices and methods of the hard left and communists...he stood up to them. As a paid spokesman for GE, he traveled the entire country visiting GE plants and workers, speaking, listening and learning from American citizens. Two terms as governor of the Union's largest state and still champ of the electoral college. He was one of the finest persons

    ever to hold the office.

  • The beautifulman69 calls me a racists...That's funny! Bring your self out so we can talk about your racists thoughts. I have raised 3 boy's (black). That are now 17,15 and 8. Their dad hasn't even seen them! I take them to baseball, basketball, name it. They respect me as I respect and love them. If you have a problem with me come with it, don't EVER CALL ME A RACIST! OVER THAT BS! My ancestors faught with General Grant to save your ass! So Shut the PHUG UP!

  • airforce one flew into our base anytime he wanted to go to his ranch. They put the plane in VXE-6 hanger. Right next to ours! I met him twice during those days...He was very pleasant and enduring.

  • you people probably love hitler to

  • like you must love Obama! You are such a loser! How do you compare the man who stated "tear these walls down" To a loser who wants to repair those same walls with his policies?

  • you are just a racist.

  • IMHO Reagan was our last Statesman President. I served under Reagan and he treated the Military very well. RIP

  • he treated the poor and middle-class like garbage.

  • Have you no respect?? Regardless of the amount of or lack of education you have didn't anyone teach you any mannors. As Americans we have the right to disagree with our elected officials but NOT to disrespect them in death. Shame on you.

  • no, i dont have any respect for reagan or idiots like you who put him in office.

  • looking at your u-tube account- you have the uniqe talent of inspiring F**K You responses to your twisted views, The lack of any positive feedback indicates that it must be you who is considered an idiot by the rest of us.

  • So ding bat...You wish for us to rebuild those walls? What a dumba!!s You put the Socialist loser in office that wants to take us to Marxism? Nice, your such a dumb!####

  • ding bat? i can tell that you ae really uneducated. i bet you were archie bunker's numer 1 fan. wave your little flag and tell everyone how proud you are to be american. thats about all you and people like regan are good for..

  • thebeautifulman69: Thank God for Reagan, Thatcher, Lech Walesa, and other pro-freedom patriots, who took the slings and arrows for freedom so you could post anti-freedom, hateful, ill-informed comments guaranteed by the "american" Constitution from the comfort of your home to an Internet site created by free enterprise risk-takers in a flag-waving country. Yes, "beautifulman," we are damn proud to be Americans. Don't like that? Post elsewhere. Try North Korea. Or Cuba. Good luck.

  • yeah i am sure you are proud. so you must be a millionaire, huh? cause that is the only americans reagan worked for.. yeah be proud that poor working people could not afford to take their sick children to the hospital during his time in office.. those who did are probably still making monthly payments. you are not a patriot you are a traitor to your fellow americans.

  • 69, your statement is specious, First of all, not one person is denied access to quality, health care in this country. Second, the dirty secret of medical inflation driving the cost of health insurance up is that hospitals cost shift the expenses of the indigent to those who utilize employer sponsored health insurance plans. Third, every hospital has deeply discounted payment plans for as low as $10 a month. How do I know? I only worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years.

  • Perhaps in Texas those hospitals offer discounted payment plans, but if I have a major illness, they aren't going to let me get away with paying $10 a month! I mean, if I get treated for brain cancer...really? Trust me, I think it's great, but there are circumstances where you argument just doesn't hold any water. Poor and middle class Americans ARE indeed denied quality health care in this country and it's an absolute shame. Single? You're good, just don't start a family!

  • again, spoken from emotion, not actual facts. Here in Houston, we have a first class, internationally known cancer center that treats stage three and four cancer without regard to how an individual can pay. Why?, because it's the right thing to do. Research grants, health insurance plans, and good old plain charitable giving help offset the costs, and yes, I have had clients pay $10 a week to pay off a deeply discounted medical bill to the hospital. It took 7 years to pay it off, but it was done.

  • STAGE THREE AND FOUR??!?!? You mean the stages in which have the absolute smallest chances of survival?! HA!!! Some "right thing to do!!!" Give me a break!!! Show me a cancer center that treats stage 1, 2, and 3...I'll eat my face!!!

  • Cancer Centers of America located in Tulsa, Oklahoma for one, M D Anderson Cancer center in Houston, Texas for another. Each treats cancers of all types, M D Anderson is superb at breast and organ cancers. Enjoy your face with fava beans and a nice chanati..

  • I'm sure that they do, however, THEY REQUIRE PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE!!!!! You can't get this treatment without it. Asshole!

  • Ahem, ...enjoy your face, M D Anderson admits anbd treats over 700 patients a year WITHOUT health insurance coverage. With very nominal fees to the treating patient and their families. Before you post, learn actual facts, they are nice to actually have and are very pesky items. Funny, you ask for centers that actually treat people in their most dire need of treatment, and I provide institutions. Yet you are rude and ignorant, these two firms are one's that I personally work with on cases.

  • This is in addition to those individuals who do have health insurance coverage. M D Anderson is world renown for being one of the leading institutions in the world in cancer treatments. The late King of Jordan was treated here in Houston, kids from North Dakota have been treated here. The point is, MD Anderson and the Cancer Centers of America do take indigent patients with no thought of recompense on treatment and subsequent stays and treatment. Obamacrae would kill the valuable research done.

  • As to being an asshole, if it means that stage 3 14 year girl gets to spend more time with her mom, dad, brother and sisters while not worrying about the treatment and the care, I 'll wear your moniker as a badge of honor. Does every patient walk out and live long, productive lives? No...But we have seen life spans increase by months and in some cases, a year.

Time, when you don't have it, is priceless. Maybe someday you'll grow up and realize that.

  • Yet, you still haven't said how universal health care would "kill the valuable research.." done at Cancer Centers of America, which by the way gets federal funding...LOL. You're too pathetic. All you have on your side is fear mongering and intimidation. Treat over 700 patients?? That's great, but how many do they turn away? Why do they turn them away? BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ANY HEALTH INSURANCE! Geez, you just don't get it do you asshole? People are dying and you don't care.

  • you're all over the place. first of all , you say there aren't hospitals and centers that don't treat the indigent. Fine, you were proven wrong on that. Second, under federal law, a hospital cannot deny treatment to an individual who is need of care. Third, and this is gruesome, most advance cancers provide invaluable areas of research that will be gone should Obamacare come into play. Most advance meds have come from research done in the States, but I doubt your mind could grasp that...

  • I never said that there WEREN'T hospitals and centers that don't treat cancer patients. I just said that cancer patients can never afford their treatments without healthcare. These centers are exempt from treating people regardless of their healthcare status. They aren't hospitals. Some research is done by these centers, but they are mostly done by the NIH and CDC. Universal healthcare will NOT in any way effect research on cancer. It will however give people with cancer a better chance.

  • No, MD Anderson is a cancer hospital...it specializes in the treatment of cancer and cancer research. Again, you argue from emotion, not actual facts. facts are special things. the are rooted in knowledge and reality, something you are lacking in both. Both the NIH and CDC are clearing houses for the government on research education, grants and illness/disease analysis and research. Most front line research is done

in active hospitals, the ones I mention and others nationally.

  • Riddle me this, Why has the Mayo Clinic come out against Obamcare? Do some homework and let me know.

  • All you care about is money money money. Making sure that people die as long as money keeps rolling in. You've never not had health insurance. You don't know what it's like and good for you, but don't you dare imply that people that don't have health insurance don't deserve it EVEN WHEN THEY CAN'T AFFORD IT! asshole. wear that badge proudly.

  • actually, I'm one of the uninsured that Universal Health Care would cover. Why don't I have insurance? I chose not to have it. I pay my way. As to your implication about money, that is my business, not yours. I have done very well for my family, associates, and hundreds of people you'll never have the pleasure of meeting. The problem you have is that you make assumptions of situations in which you have little or no knowledge. It shows in your posts and it more than shows up in your daily life.

  • So it really does come back to money doesn't it? Nothing changes by having universal healthcare. You can STILL opt to NOT have health insurance. Just don't decide that because YOU don't have to have it, others don't. It's complete arrogance, immoral and unethical. I'm sure that you may have done well for yourself, however there are 300 million other people in America other than you.

  • TexianSJ, you are right. My father was hospitalized many years ago, after he was laid off and the Cobra became too expensive for us to pay. He received excellent care and he paid his bill using a monthly plan. My mother wrote the last check shortly after he died. She signed her name proudly and despite her grief, she was happy to do it. Without ONE red penny from the state! It took a number of years to pay, but if a widow with two children could do it, many can.

  • TexianSJ. Good thought you do have a valid point. I agree.

  • thebeautifulman69. Thanks for your comment. You do have a point. I still think we have a wonderful medical heath care sytem. It's not perfect; but does it's job. But we do have an issue with cost and 40 to 50 millions who can't afford. How is the gov't be able to make provisons? Get health care professionals for these individuals? We already have lack of providers; foreign doctors are not enough.

Cost involved? On top of all this, universal coverage? I don't know the answer.

  • in 1984, the reagan administration removed iraq from its list of terrorist nations and aided saddam husseins military build-up. reagan's economic policies weathered the worst recession since the great depression.

  • dude you an ass. you have to make hateful comments on a video of his funeral?!

  • everyone liked him because he looked like the grandfather everyone wanted. he tried to play john wayne in office..he was an actor portraying a president and most of the country fell for his act. like all other republicans, he walked all over the working middle class and served the big corporations well.

  • care to share actual facts?....or are you going to just post and hide like the rest?

  • Comment removed

  • Ronald Wilson Reagan will be remembered as one of two exceptional United States Presidents of the 20th century. The simple fact that he still pisses off socialist, liberals, and communists 20 years after leaving office is the true tribute to his character and courage. Think about this, every presidential candidate from the GOP seeks Reagan's mantle, every Democrat runs against a man who has been dead for five years now....God Bless you Ronald Reagan!

  • you do know that most of the world classify liberalism as right... ? as in nowhere close to socialists and communism.

  • anybody can wave the flag. being a good president is more than just badmouthing communist and saying god bless america.

  • that is why we have such great healthcare. the richest country in the world and we are ranked 37th. well it is people like you that are part of the problem. you make me sick to my stomach but i cant afford to go to the doctor..thanks!

  • This is true. And yet, no member of the GOP can do it. No one wants to relive the '80's man! Seriously. It's done. The Cold War is over! (Due to the economy and NOT Ron). There is no more "communist boogie man" except for the person in the White House you call a communist. Grasping at straws make you look desperate. If you guys want to win America back, you need to start moving forward. Take Megan McCain for starters. She's the future of the GOP and I'm not that scared of it!

  • Megan McCain the future of the GOP? Wishful thinking lib.....

  • Why so scared of a progressive thinking republican?!?! Some inclusiveness you've got there liar!!!

  • I have no desire to be inclusive. In this world you have right and wrong. There are things that are shades of gray, but that just means they are partly wrong. Conservatism is absolute. Conservatism wins. If you want to be inclusive your a sellout. Nothing more than "Democrat light"

  • And when they throw your corpse in a hole, no one will sing over your body.

  • God, I wish there was another Reagan out there. History will note that the world benefited in so many ways from his leadership.

  • How depressed nancy reagan looks at 1:14...how chilling but such a strong woman...

  • i saw this outside not inside

  • Reagan is dead and his ideas are dead.

    Deal with it.

    Live with it.

  • What a stunning performance... Brings tears to my eyes. God Bless our Great Nation and it's leaders, past and present.

  • "Craziness is Hereditary you get it from your children."

good president with a good sense of humor ^.^

  • A good and great man who served the USA with great courage and dignity. If only he was the President today.

  • Best president ever? He was an actor...please.

  • And the rest of the Presidents weren't actors? Please. Two of the best actors of all time: Barack Obama and FDR.

  • Oh they were in Hollywood? I see.

    Reagan was an actor.

  • He was a great actor, a great governor, and a great president. God bless the Gipper lol!

  • He certainly looked like a Saint compared to Bush!

  • where is he when we truly need him best president ever

  • this is more nearly how this hymn should be sung. It should be strong an energetic march inspiring us onward

  • Funny how some people blame one man instead of they who elected him.

While there are some policies that I didn't agree with us, he was still OUR president, elected through one of the greatest rights the world has ever known and that is the VOTE!

He was still a husband, a great actor, Governor, father and friend to many!

Good bye Mr President and thank you for your years of service.

  • This is a fantastic video. I have this entire service on tape, including the one where he was laid to rest in California. This is one of my favorite hymns. A bagpiper played it at my father's funeral service on January 8,2008. Great job!

    Ken Palmer
