Anyone else noticed the key in this is Bb, wheras the record is in A, and so the harmonies differ? Personally prefer this key because the b.vox dissonance is brilliant
@ferre77 its deceptive its just the way the two where recorded, Letterman performance has more simple Micing and loads of compression! its more Lo-Fi, fool proof live T.V stuff. Gives it a dirty blues feel. Whilst this recording is much more dynamic and has loads of subtle variations more space if you like.. BBC one of the few stations that don't just saturate the sound. I like both .. just giving some technicals .. Cheers
Something went horribly wrong for the bass player at 1.34! Imagine that being your legacy... "I'm the bass player that played a bum note with Feist live on TV"
They seem a bit tired here, the Letterman version is way better! Glad to see them though, Jools always has a great lineup and L deserves to be a huge star, like Stevie Nicks "star".
I love the backup singers, especially their harmonies and how they're all dressed so cas in jeans and work shirts.

almost the same as the amsterdam show. I prefer the Later background, I didn't like the Carre Amsterdam stage with lightcanons
