  • u go girl i like ur cofidence and persistence

  • It may not be want u wanted but I like it , it looks great!!

  • It looks good to me giiirlll!!!

  • Try Aloe Vera Gel you can buy it at Wal-Mart for about $3.47 you can use it before and after it shapes your curls and holds them. The only downside is that if you wear it in your hair for days it will flake but you can fix that by spraying at little water on your hair and twisting your finger around it. Which will also revive the gel so you don't have to add more

  • I think it is cute!!

  • Try rubbing some oil on your hands before undoing twist. The oil on your fingers helps eliminate frizz.

  • I love it.

  • It is cute girl you know it is!!!!! I like it!!!!

  • Girl, you need to get some eye glasses! Your hair look Gr8! You are very hard on your hair, your texture is the bomb! You may need to put some oil on your ends. But you know how you want your hair to look and I hope you get it the way you want. Hang in their! :) Some videos have the mirror look (words backwards), how did you get your product bottle words to show correctly?

  • beautiful hair !!

  • omg ive finally found somebody with hair kinda like mine!!!!! i have been looking and looking. oh a tip is putting the ends on a roller, perm rod, or bendy rod

  • girl don't be too hard on yourself that came out really pretty

  • Nice.

  • I like that one, it looks better than the first, not too puffy, just my opinion keep trying you will master it.

  • I haven't read all of the comments so I may be restating a coment or two. In my experience flat two strand twists are fuller, less defined. If you would like a defined look do the two or three strand twist.

  • I think your twist out looked great!!! I hope mine looks that nice :)

  • Have u tried rollin your ends using end papers and sponge rollers?

  • oil on the tips while in the process of applying the twists and while taking them out should help ya out.

  • oil the tips (ends)

  • I know i'm late but i just discovered your channel. I think that if u split the hair in 2 sections and do the flat twists on the top and then another set at the bottom it will work better. Also, you may want to try doing the top section in flat twisits and then doing individual small twists in the back section to give more definition. From the video it looked as if the problem was that the twist loosened as it progressed down. Just a few suggestions. Be blessed!

  • Most twistouts I've seen have results like yours. I saw SalonCabelo's video and her hair is indeed different which most likely has something to do with. Also, the foam she used was much lighter. I have seen a natural flat iron her hair and then do the twist out to receive similar results.

    Good luck!

  • lia81 don't flat twist your hair just do your hair in regular two strains. also use oil on your ends

  • Hey maybe u should put some oil on your tips before untwisting

  • I just thought of something else...and someone may have mentioned this, but try instead of twisting to the ends-twist down to about half an inch, then just twist the end around your finger-doing this with the gel I mentioned to you(organic root stimulator loc

and twist gel) in the previous post-do your twist on dry hair as well with the gel:)

  • using rollers or perm rods helps alot and makes 2nd day hair better...oh and sealing ur ends with shea butter when its wet....and i jus realized why my twist outs haven't been poppin lately i stopped using kinky curly...guess i gotta get some and do a vid

  • Your hair looks nice, Waiting on your donna marie review:)

  • I love the look though btw including the makeup. Please let us know how the Donna Marie works. Your twists turne out very nice to me.

  • You may want to try a heavier product on the ends like MJCP and/or some oil to prevent the frizz. I'm going to try it myself.

  • Hey lia81! I love your videos. I had the same problem when I tried a flat twist out. What I find works is, to do flat twist in the front and and two stand twist in the back. Doing it this way results in a more defined twist out with less frizz. Hope this helps you,

  • Hey Lia81, I was just wondering how often do you have to purchase a jar of KCCC? That stuff is like gold because of the price. Thanks!

  • It really is cute! You are getting better every time you do it. I can understand how you feel about wanting to perfect it, but it really is cute!

  • Omg lia!!! Your hair came out soo pretty! Girl hush that madness up nd rock it!! It's too cute nd it fits you.

  • do u have any tips on what to put on a 3yr olds hair that is dry and thin in the back please responde my sister is n need of help with her lil girls hair

  • I have a daughter who's nearly three. I used dark and lovely beautiful beginnings products in her hair. they have the shampoo, braid refresher, moisturizer etc. For dryness I use shea butter (there's also the children one around) then seal with some castor oil daily. I also use the castor oil lightly on her scalp every other day. Also on ther days that I add the castor oil to the scalp, I give her scalp a good massage for 5 - 1o minutes. Oh and what i found useful was to avoid combing everyday.

  • Try parting your hair from ear to ear and do it with two layers..

  • ooo that sounds hot imma have to try that out

  • Girl, my ends do the same thing. So much so I'm having a serious problems now with detangling and knots. Ugh!

Have you tried applying moisturizer on your ends every day while you have the cornrows in. I twisted my hair 4 days ago, I'm spritzing it every day and applying shea butter to my ends and edges every other day. I'll take them down in 4 days. Hopefully my ends won't be frizzy. If they are it will be puff city for me ;)

    ...don't give up girl!

  • I like it it is pretty, but you know what you want. I hope you find the right method for you. ((((HUGS))))

  • YOu have such Beautiful Hair!!!!!

  • corn rows or better on my hair than the flat twist cuz i have a looser curl pattern so my twist or too loose unless i do really small ones.

  • try doing triple rows of twists

  • very pretty... and dayon looks are hard to do, but you did it girl!!

  • Hi, I found that my twist outs came out better after I did them a few times-it's almost like my hair had to become trained also I use organic root stimulator loc and twist gel-it works well for me-I like to do my twists on dry hair-because there's less shrinkage, frizziness and puff!

  • that gel is the bizness i use it all the time on bantu knot outs imma have to look into them with flat twistouts

  • Love your flat twist out...and the eyes are fierce!

  • have u tried just two strand twist, instead of flat twist.. (i know ur is longer so it will take forever, lol)..ans oil ur hands when taking them down

  • When i do my flat twist, I seperate my hair in two sections, top and botton and then do the twists on the top and bottom, it gives you more definition.

  • :0)

  • First day twist outs can sometimes be troublesome, as it gets older it will fall more and the hair will stretch more. I can't stand my day 1 twistouts but loves day2 and on. Keep practicing and trying different products and techniques!

  • you're hair look cute and full. i luv it. try coating your fingers with product as you take the twists down.

  • your hair is really cute!!

  • i wish u luck on ur quest 4 da perfect twst out pretty gurl

  • Heyy Gyrl!!

Thanks so much for recreating this look, It GORGEOUS!! You did an Amazing job!! I love it, even wit the light ;)

    You hair is UBER CUTE!!!

  • MAKE 2 ROWS!!! One in the front and another in the back. When you do the row in the front, part and twist in the direction you want your hair to fall. Love the eyeshadow, and you have really nice nails!

  • It looks good to me. I love it and I love your makeup. Very cute.

  • Definitely much better than the last twistout. Like others suggested try to untwist your with a lil oil in your hands. Good luck, girl!! Your getting there!

  • a lot of people use oil to undo the twist to prevent frizz

  • Don't give up, you're almost there. I personally think it looks good. Enjoy your new products!

  • When I take down my twists, I make sure I put some kind of product (whatever you used to twist your hair) on my fingers to aid in keeping my hair from frizzing up so much. Try that and see how it works.

  • I like ya hair, much less frizzy. And oh my bro just walked pass the laptop and was like she bangin! lol!

  • girl....ur hair is cute!

  • I like it on you!

  • It has a good shape. Looks good!

  • this twistout turned out nice, not as frizzy as the other one. And girl you have the eyes together. I love to watch Krawls videos even though I still need much practice. But you did really well.

  • Your hair is cewt what else can you ask for lol...

  • It looks fine to me.

  • Try individual twist/braids that seems to work better for me ..plus beautiful twist outs or braid outs

When I twist or braid to the scalp it always turns out to be a mess

  • try putting sum kind of oil your hands!

    its cute tough!

  • With hair as great as yours no matter what you do to it ,its gonna look great .

  • you know what? my hair does the same thing... try just flat twisting the front half of your head and then do individual 2strand twists in the back... that way... the front is still cute and the back has definition =)

  • I'm going to try this....

  • it looks cute!

  • You should try flat twists and then seal the ends w/ a moisturizing product. Always lovely tho.

  • Can you do this on relaxed hair, I am transitioning and I only about 3 inches of nautral hair and the rest is relaxed. I need something culry so it wont look so bad.

Help a girl out, I need help real bad...LOL but seriously.. I really do need help

  • You can do this on relaxed hair, just make sure you put rollers on the end like perm rods or flexirods.

  • Yes you can do flat twist on permed hair.

  • Its so cute! This is how my turned out too and I wasn't looking for that look either, we also have similar textures. I think I need to go under the dryer with the flat twists so it could dry all the way.

  • I have the same problem...twist-outs nor braid-outs work for me...

  • your hair is super cute I love it

  • I would use some kind of oil at the ends. . .maybe olive oil or something.

  • it looks so cute!!!!

  • Very cute, I love it. I just have a question for all who listens to Beyonce....do yall really listen to her lyrics and I mean sit and listen, not jam to it but listen. That woman is not speaking to Jay...no ma'am!!

  • i think it looks cute

  • I have no luck with twist outs either. I think I tried every method on youtube :(

  • when you get to the bottom of the twist instead of continuing to the bottom put the ends in a bantu knot my texture is similar to yours and the bantu knots really helped with my frizzes.

  • Almost every naturals hair curls up like that at the bottom. You just have to slowly undo that part first. Don't yank it apart from higher up, start at the ends.

  • my hair coils really bad at the ends too. Try putting some coconut oil on the ends first and then put some on your fingers. This will help slide the coils out and make them less frizzy. Hope that helps :)

  • Instead of twisting all the way to the ends maybe your should braid the ends. I have never tried it but it might work. = )

  • Do you need ur ends clipped or do u have dry ends? Try some gel at the ends or mousse.

  • I use a little aloe vera gel with a little Oyin handmade Shine and Define mixed together. I take my twists down with the Oyin handmade whipped cream. I retwist the few ends that get frizzy. A little more product on the ends might eliminate the frizzies.

I think your hair is cute!

  • Can you describe how you would like it to look...cause maybe then we can give you better suggestions.I suggested the double decker type of twists...but now I'm thinking, instead of twisting back, you could twist to going down the sides. I think this looked great though....but I understand you that you are going for a specific look. You'll get it soon. If at first you don't succeed, try try again! :-)

  • My daughter's hair coils and curls at the ends just like yours does so I will be trying to figure out how to get of the frizziness when I do her hair. I love the way your hair came out.

  • Thanks! Yeah that coil/curl at the end causes you to have to separate the hair and then comes the frizzes!

  • I thought it came out cute!

  • Thanks

  • Yeah lia, i just bought the Donna Marie Mira Curl Gel and it is in the pump bottle. I believe the owner change packaging. the pump helps control the amount of product that is used.

  • Cool beans!

  • How did you like it?

  • Maybe you should try to make smaller sections instead of cornrowing. Just make some fat twists all over your head and unravel it the next morning. Good luck! ;-)

  • I'm trying it all! Thanks!!!

  • I have tight curls...so i put shae butter on my fingers while im taking them down

  • Cutiful! lol your making up your own words. Love it, your hair looks great, keep at it, you'll get it.

  • Thanks for the encouragement!

  • I have problems twisting as well. I trimmed my ends and I twist the front and than the back instead of one twist from back to front. That worked a little better, but it is still a work in progress getting the right size twist.

  • Hopefully we will get it soon!

  • I just wish it didn't take hours to find out if the new method is going to work or not!

Keep trying and I will keep watching...so I can steal your method :-)

  • BTW, your hair always looks beautiful.

  • LOL....Thank you! I'll keep trying so you can steal which ever way works out. That's what I'm here for! LOL

  • I think your hair looks great. The neon pink look is on point too. Keep making videos.

  • Thank you!

  • Hey lia81, one option you can try is the "double decker" method where you

have two rows of flat twists. Kimmaytube has a good video on this method. I believe the video is called hair inspired by corrine bailey... I find when I do that I have very good definition at the top and at the bottom. P.S. Luv your vids and personality!

  • Thank you. I am going to try that next time.
