In the TV show Bass EXE is a villain. However he never uses a dark chip. He also never worked with the Darkloids. He is just another villain.

In the novels he is a dark navi.

@ProtomanGX001 Actually... it is explained in the Japanese Dub/English Sub what Darkloids are... they are basically beings of data that were not created by man... they were created by the internet itself... basically... they willed their own creation into existence. Dark Blues was Blues turned into a Darkloid by that Dark Chip that Enzan used on him, it was a special dark chip, designed to turn the one who uses it into a Darkloid...

The actual manga reveals that it has the musical symbol of Forte inside it. It actually has a symbol. It's just, they were too lazy to put it into the anime, just like Forte's back story.

In the manga/games he is created by scientists as like the first net navi with what resembles or is a free will. He gets outta hand and the scientists try to destroy him, but he gets away. They screw it up in the anime though with some stupid garbage.

Bass received the slash on his from when he was betrayed by humans in the manga.

but in the anime it was a marked he received from when Megaman and Protoman both attacted Pharoman with the double program advance because in the anime Bass is Phaomans reincarnated form he still has the mark across his chest.
