  • dem benches iz well lairy innit cuz, fo shizzle

  • i find this funny, news only negotiates around Big Areas, little areas like Todmorden , have a lot of crime, there are gangs up and down our streets, knifings, hell we even have a mob around here, and we get no attention from the media or the police, the police are crap at solving our problems and are only good at solving car tax fraud and parking tickets, what about the real people that suffer? i have had my windows put through three times within a month is that bad?

  • So should the media just stand back and watch? Do they have no influence at all? Could they not at least help change things?

  • Why should the media inspire criminals to stay away from crime? Absolute rubbish. The media report crime. Look at poor parenting, unemployed and unemployable layabouts, tired teachers, alcohol and drug abuse to name but a few for the reasons these people commit crime.

  • Yeah, but its the media who are the ones who have the nice lifestyles that are affected by crime.

They don't care about the people who commit it, just as long as they are locked up.

And on top of that, criminals don't generally buy newspapers, the victims do, so they make a story to attract their audience.

Its a crime how much my area is stereotyped to seem like a complete hole in the middle of nowhere with al the emphasis on London, but we can't win.
