  • Didn't need much training to see and hear what was going on that day, lol. Sucks it still takes so damn long to get the warning out.. As you seen, the sirens went off well after the fact, and the storm clouds cleared this side of Portage.

  • I am a trained storm spotter for the Skywarn program and I reporter a wall cloud on this exact storm just after it passed the michigan/indiana border in berrien county just west if Niles

  • I'm over by I-94 and US 131, about a mile away from where those folks got hit by the lightning strike. Funny thing is a lot of folks I know in Comstock/Galesburg area didn't see it either. The rotation on radar was when WWMT was showing it on the radar. That point small clouds was getting sucked up, and the lightning struck the soccer field before that..
