there is nothing wrong with the speed, it's pretty much the same as in the original broadway according, she is just singing more stagato then legato, wich i think is a sad choice, because the song can be so pretty, and she have such a pretty and strong voice

Ok I know this is a really old post but let me just correct you in saying that there is no such thing as "stagato" in Danish. It's called staccato and legato in Danish same as in English..... Og jeg er dansker og musiker så det er skam rigtig nok det jeg siger :)

Wow how can you do emotion at that speed.... It would be hard to build up emotions. I think the actress did very well to keep up and performed amazingly however sack the conductor!!!!

Actually, the speed has a lot to do with ambience, and the feelings in the song itself.

The girl has a nice voice. It is far too rushed to sound as pretty as it should.

Holy cow, the conductor must have wanted to get out early tonight. I guess chugging through the ralletandos and going the same speed at the end can take a good 30 seconds off. Plus, I doubt the conductor was giving the orchestra enough time to get the rhythms correct near the end- it simply didn't flow.

I have no problems with the girl singing. Bravo to her.

@Soccerchick916 This is a ballad, a love song; not a pop song. It's supposed to be slow because the character is discovering how she feels and pondering her thoughts on it. Speed is very important in determining the mood of a song, and the tempo of this track was inappropriate. However, her voice is absolutely lovely.

She's pretty decent actually, but a little proper vocal training wouldn't hurt. At times it was very....the sound seemed a bit too forced, with slight child-like sqeakes popping in and out every once in awhile. She really does have a bit of talent though.

She sings with pure brute force and natural talent... but little feeling. Little dynamic... its all belting. She is very talented and would benefit greatly from proper training.

She has a lovely voice and can only improve. I suggest vocal training. The biggest thing to work on is diction so that the vowels don't sound so squeaky. But truly the voice is beautiful!

screaming? Not at all. Big difference between singing in a studio and singing on a wide-open stage in the context of a full-length musical. This girl does great in her environment.

Similiar voice to Amy Bodnar which isn't a bad thing. The vibratto isn't too much at all. I've heard worse vibratto than this. It's a nice vibratto. The tempo of this song is how I remember it from vs 4. I don't find it speeded up at all. Very nicely done! Kudos!

I think it sounds amazing...I like the tempo, it gives a sense of urgency to the song, at points I think it should have slowed down, but I do like the quickened pace at the beginning.

your voice is okay but the tempo is way out. My singing tutor has a habbit of speeding things up but this was taking a joke. either your accompanists were having a laugh or you slow it down. Really milk it. Its a big number. Think about what your singing about, betrayal and love. not things that should be taken fast.
