Minimum means the lowest safe atlitude to make a decision on whether to continue the approach and land or go missed approach if you don't see the runway enviroment. Minimum is a specific altitude that you must set before you begin any kind of non precision approach and it can vary with every airport.
With regards to the ringtone, I have recently updated my cell phone and cannot find that file anymore. If I find the ringtone I will let you know.
airbus doesnt call YOU a retard. this callout means the speed needs to be retarded, as in "slow down". only a retard would think the airbus is calling him a retard ;)
@Polaraxis Hi there, hey, don't just send it to him, upload it somewhere (fileshare) and post the link here, many more would be glad to have that! :D Is the ringtone made from this video, or from a purposeful recording? Tnx!
I always chuckle when I hear it. An instructor of mine once told me that the first two times you hear the retard callout you consider it an adverb, but if you hear the callout more than that, you should then consider it an adjective.
(Navigation Display), I went the extra mile to cover the registration of the airplane with a leftover Boars Head wrapper. I did this to ensure the airline would remain anonymous. Enjoy your day.
if you have more advance aicraft's like Wilco airbus , pmdg 737 747 you have the call outs in the aircraft

@Polaraxis well you can set the minimum also in a precision approach....in that case the minimum is the DA/DH
GigiSassari 1 year ago
@GigiSassari Yes, you can set the minimum on a precision approach, but not
always. On precision Cat III approaches you do not need to set any DA/DH. On
non-precision approaches you must always set the minimum.
Polaraxis 1 year ago
@Polaraxis obviously in the Cat III u don't need! I took it for granted ;)
