  • luv it

  • I never knew the movie this was from, but I certainly knew this song from when I was little. Strange all these years I've only ever heard it out of context!

  • Berl was never a harmony singer, he was a star from at least the 1940's with his own radion show and constant guest on others as well as touring 200 plus dates a year when younger. A fine actor, too, as Big Daddy in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and as a rancher warring with Charles Bickford in "The Big Country" among other roles. UNDER APPRECIATED? WELL I GUESS.

  • Happy 100th Berl

  • Thanks for the upload and for giving me a few minutes of pleasant viewing and listening and thanks for sharing, Max.

  • Thank you for transporting me back to my childhood with this segment. Burl Ives was such a grandfatherly figure!

I must share this with some folks whom may be in need of a smile today.

  • Berl Ives is under appreciated and recognized for his brilliance and talent. He was sooo smooth in his deliverance. RIP Berl and thanks for uploading this.

  • you gotta love it really!

  • It beats 50 cent all day long. Ha!

  • Haha, thanks for uploading this! I always wondered what it was from, cause it was on one of those Disney Classics albums. But also, Ren and Stimpy's "Happy Happy Joy Joy" song totally ripped off his bit about the little creatures not knowing that they're ugly! So awesome.
