To my knowledge Marley has not done simmer down. I know that the Wailing Wailers did when accompanied by the Skatalites (Not Bob Marley).

But Marley was in The Wailing Wailers and the song is available on some collections with Bob Marley and the Wailers. Maybe it is collections not sold by Island records? Since that material was recorded before they signed with Island records. They recorded some fab material with among ohters Lee Schratch Perry as producer in the early days.

yea its a great take on a classic ska song. Back in the day, ska songs were passed around from band to band on a weekly basis with slight adjustments made each time. So the MMB with this take is in line with tradition.
