This game is a joke. Just been playing it on PS3. I don't know what multiplayer is like (because it won't even work), but singleplayer is utter shite. Granted I was playing on heroic, but all that consists of is throwing impossible situations at you. The field battle with the oliphaunts in particular was ridiculous - they want you to kill like 6 oliphunts, 4 towers, and fend off the 16 orcs hitting you in the back as you try to use the catapult.

First game thats made me want to snap the disc.

Seeing as how EA royally fucks up any game I buy with their logo pasted on it (Battle for Middle Earth 1, Black & White) and they'd refuse to correct any imbalance or glitch after they patch it once, I'm really hesitant to try this game. Just looking at it from the trailer, it seems impacts are clunky, but I'm a big fan of LOTR.

If you like doing campaign only, buy the game. I think it's a pretty fun game, the downside is absolutely no one plays online. You'll be lucky to find 4 people in a match, and I'm not even kidding.
