While it can be argued that this is only applicable during "jihad", the principle still exists.

You are stating it out of context. Islam is a religion of tolerance and forgiveness.
If one has murdered all his life, Muslim or not, and near his death has honestly realized his mistakes and genuinely begs for mercy, it is possible that God may forgive him and grant him paradise in the afterlife.
One honest confession is all it takes as long as it is the last one.

I was referring to Qur'an 9:111 which states those who "slay, and are slain" in Allah's name receive Paradise. THAT makes Islam the only religion that promises Paradise to those who kill (the unbeliever). Killing IS A WAY to Paradise; in the above verse, it is "binding on Allah" to grant Paradise to those who kill. While it can be argued that this is only applicable during "jihad", the principle still exists.
Qur'an goes on to say it is "the achievement supreme."

"Man qatala youqtal" Means that who ever kills has to be killed. That is the only part in the Quraan that mentions death or killing. I don't know from where you got that false information that God promises paradise for those who kill cause that's extremely pathetic. Anyways the people who you call terrorists find Americans and Israelis terrorists as well, cause hey, it all started with the creation of Israel. If Israel never existed 9/11 would have never happened.
