You some sort of Channel 9 whore mate? Reality check - they are by a long way the worst channel in Australia. Their coverage of cricket has been appauling for some while, I say give it to SBS.

@SumFallGrace How can you say that ? commentators on SBS aka Sky Sports UK were the worst. Theres no emotion enjoyment. You always feel the commentators on WWOS really are enjoying what they are watching. Which is where the rest go wrong. Backed up by the best technical coverage , I really cant see your point

I can't help but wonder if you are working for Channel Nine. The Ashes was very well covered by Sky Sports in my opinion, and the talk show hosted by MacGill, Martyn and Mathhews was suprisingly good. All channel nine do is flog sporting memorablila and advertise KFC and their second rate shows during the cricket. The test matches are the only time I ever have my TV on 9. Commentary is ok but not always up to scratch, although I do enjoy listening to Mark Nicholas and Tony Greig.

the worst idea I've heard yet! Leave him where he is! What a great option to have further down the order. Like gilchrist, he can hit the ball hard and cleanly. its a really psychological advantage to have someone like that coming in after the majority of the specialist batsmen are out
