Raising the age is a terrible idea. People at the age of 16 die from wrecks because of inexperience. If we raise the age to 18, that only makes 18 year olds the inexperienced ones.

If their are so many deaths in teenagers (which they got wrong statistically in this video), then why don't they just make a car especially for teenagers thats safe and reasonably fast? If that would cost too much, just give them a list of safe cars to choose from.

Listen to what i have to say, The only reason why teens die in car accidents, Is because they dont listen to their parents or other people when they say "Where your safety-belt" Or "Go the speed limit & Do complete stops" Dumbass teens.. Just text why'' driving and run red lights and stop signs, Or either dont look both ways. I think the age of 16 Is the perfect age to get your license.. Age 15 is good to get your permit.. SO yeah Age 16 is better so you can go where you have too...

I agree with cybertrader69. 21 would be a significant driving age. taking it away at 65 would solve a lot of problems on the highway due to elderly drivers. **if your elderly and reading this, oh well, this is my opinion** for everyone else under 21, driving is a privelage TO SAY THE LEAST. you screw up, state takes that privelage away. no license till 21 will save on insurance, cause less problems because less irrisponsible people will be driving a car that their parents could barely pay for.

They cite the New Jersey law of 17. Of course the rate is lower thay have taken 1yr of teens out of the equation. If they then added 20yr olds the results ould be the same.

I got my license at 15 and that allowed me to learn to drive stoned and drunk which were skills that that got me through my 20's.
