Not sure how having gold helps you 'withstand a currency war...' You don't want to base your currency on gold because everyone will be buying gold which would push your currency sky high which is the opposite of what you want to do in a currency war.
@proudstr8 Well aren't you a smart one.. Language has nothing to do with being a superpower or not. So your comment about 'main languages' is kind of stupid, certainly when you don't know Mandarin is already the most used language on earth (over 1 billion people).
@censortube09 mandarin is more isolated, "smart one." english is global and taught in every school. when the british were the world's largest superpower, with america's help english became the international language, just like latin with rome. when china and germany are the only superpowers left, they will be doing the most business and countries will have no choice but to learn their ugly languages. learn to think ahead, you belgian fool
China? Of course. Germany? Weeeeeeel, maybe, who knows. But Russia? With Russia's approach to development and mentality? I think pigs will start flying before Russia becomes a match to China, Germany or the US (despite the latter being in deep deep shit). Russia is a corrupt, chaotic and unpredictable entity which is nothing more than gas and oil supplier to China and the EU...

@proudstr8 "mandarin is more isolated, "smart one.""
That's not the point buddy, as I already explained language has nothing to do with being a superpower or not. But nice try.
"they will be doing the most business and countries will have no choice but to learn their ugly languages, learn to think ahead, you belgian fool"
Again your reasoning is wrong. But hey, don't let this belgian fool tell you otherwise or keep you from thinking ahead..
