    BALls!!

  • gr8 animation hhah..!!

  • that isn't gamma ray burst, that is two neutron stars merging

  • @TheRaam86 yeah, and their magnetic fields merge form a gamma ray jet, that you can see in the end

  • Well, except that’s not how gamma ray bursts happen.

  • gary is on the title :D

  • The universe is beautiful

  • mmm what would happen if our balls have the force of gravity **ask the techer**

**kid** check on youtube teacher :D

  • trippy.

  • And even if you lived over 1000 lightyears away BUT you are next to that explosion. You will die. Though neutron stars are SOOO SMAL O_O If im right the diamiter of one is just as big as new york. But really, what are the odds of 2 colliding?

  • How the fuck did you interpret one of them being the size of new work?

The odds of 2 colliding are extremely small but is instantly accounted for by the vastness of the universe, DIEING FROM A GRB COULD ONLY HAPPEN FROM STARS 14 BILLION YEARS AGO Henceforth the radiation wouldn’t even tickle us.. And neutron stars are not small, then can be up to 1.5 times the suns mass, which is small in astro physics terms but as a feeble human it is beyond comprehension.

  • @srehou Yes that's why i like neutron stars. Because they're so strange! They turn around like a hundred times a second and they are so incredibley massive! One teaspoon of this matter is heavier than mount everest! How this exactly happend i don't know. They expect the same to happen with the sun when it dies after the red fiant phase. And stop cursing. It's pointless.

  • @Glennfalconi the Sun doesnt possess the mass to become a neutron star. it will end up being a brown dwarf.neutron stars are produced by stars that have sufficient mass to produce a supernova. Neutron stars is nothing but what is left of the star core after a supernova.

  • gay, balls are touching

  • Может кто объяснить что это???

  • This is like SEX, but its cosimc . Not two entities but two planet ..maybe planets has their own consciusnesses

(like earth does) so we can say that they do sex but on a greater level lol.

  • @itsAndrogyn lol its stars you moron and stars have their own life cycles like we do and gamma ray bursts do cause new stars to be ignited just like beings having sex cause new beings to be born. I've only looked into type 2 supernovae though which are single giant stars that blow up. I don't think stars have consciousness though but ya never know.

  • @bingbang3214 dont tell everybody "moron" so easily its a bad word :/ , This star thing is so exciting, and now you mention sex :D , yes they have their own cycles.

  • @itsAndrogyn sorry

  • @kydrice

thats why there shouldn't be gay dudes hahahaha

  • Most GRBs happen in fractions of a second and release more energy than the sun ever will in it's whole lifetime, there are some GRBs that have been active for over 30+ seconds and some up to a few minutes.

  • LMAO, all the people posting how to survive a Gamma Ray Burst, lol, u cannot, and will not survive, even if one of these rays hit the Milky Way, they have the power of 100 thousand Trillion suns, how can u survive that lol

  • @XANF2 with lead. Lots and lots of lead

  • @XANF2 we have nothing to worry about with gamma ray bursts from outside the milky way, it is gamma ray bursts from within the milky way that could hurt us about. But we really dont know that much about gamma ray bursts, they have only been recorded 100 million-billions of lightyears away from us, everything about them is only theory. Still what else could cause them apart from dying stars.

  • how long would this take in real time?

  • Speed of light, but the biggest ones are slightly under the speed of light because of 'space' reasons

  • a GRB from a parsec to earth would destroy half the ozone layer =\

  • What sort of planets are they?

  • There aren´t planets, but neutron Stars. It´s a star like the sun collided into a few miles.

  • This is what happens when balls touch..

  • Still don't know what causes GRBs.

And we're still missing important information.

  • marble cake.

    also the game.

  • It actually looks more like dying dwarf stars, or red dwarfs, if there's a dif.

  • Have you Ever seen a Neutron star

    No?

    that's what i thought

  • Its not the light that is the culprit but the rays especially gamma rays wich is why it named like that and is the strongest of radiation

  • pot ur son block onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

  • i read in a book that one gamma ray burst and "outshine" all the brightness in the universe combined

  • It was a galaxy universe isn't that small

  • i know, but gamma ray bursts are incredibly bright. (when i said "and" i meant "can")

  • who gives a shit - why worry about something like that, it's gonna happen, what ever..

end of life on this speck doesn't mean end of life in the entire universe and even if it did I wouldn't be here to care.

  • I've commented on the wrong video?????

this was supposed to be for the end of days video not this gamma ray thing???

  • there is with out a doubt life elsewhere

hmm, thats true, but it wouldn't be humans...

but not to worry, not even a gamma ray burst can destroy all human life.

  • Gamma-ray burst is formed in 2 ways, this video demonstrates 1 way, When 2 'dead' stars orbit one another because they have gravity like Earth. When they 'fuse' together there cores EXPLODE releasing a Gamma-Ray burst. If this were to happen close to Earth civilization would be lost in time, Gamma-rays put out ultra viloet rays that are so powerful it can kill everything on Earth, it is so bright there is no where you can hide.

  • what about hiding in a millirary deep underground bunker ?, not sure exactly how powerfull these things really are, but no type of light should be able to shine that deep >:)

oh and whats the second way?

ps: if they get lucky, the guys in the space station may survive by hiding behind the earth.

  • Lol they may get lucky never know! Second way is when then iner core of a dead star expanes and forces the stars crust out ward releasing a Gamma-Ray burst when it shoots through the crust exploding the hole star and fear the Gamma-ray >:D

  • When stars orbit one another they cannot collide. There is no way.

  • yes there is... that causes a gamma ray burts and its not that uncommon that it happens

  • well no worry about that its just to show how it happens not to be afraid though it wouldn't end life just the large multi-celllar life

  • would make for the end of us if it happened near Earth :-(

  • would make for a great sun tan if this hapened near earth

  • you have no idea. I think a tan would be the least of our problems lol :)

  • these would make great bowling balls

  • I would like to see you throw one.

  • my teacher could . The equator is his belt size

  • I thought gamma ray brusts are from massive exploding stars not neutron stars.

  • Um yess they do both exploding stars and collding neutron stars create gamma ray burst

Gamma ray burst are made from the formation of a balck hole neutron stars colliding create balck holes.

  • you thought. jk

  • i would hate for that beam to hit near earth, bye bye ozone if that haappens, not to mention anyone under the beam would get cremated

  • GBR radiation is the same type of radiation from a nuke.

  • They found that GRB's come from black holes? This is two planets colliding making a star. Where is the black hole? Are GRB's and the photographed jets coming from magnetic poles of black holes one and the same?

  • The theory goes that short burst GRBs can come from collisions between black holes or (in the video's case), neutron stars. The photographed jets are not the same as GRBs, though their mechanisms are probably similar. No one knows what those mechanisms are though.

  • Black holes are not Eternal

  • DRUNK STAR DRIVERS

  • You are right! There is a face on the star. I wonder if the guy who made this simulation video did that on purpose or not..?

  • 00:00 look a face on the star

  • I can never know, which are stronger? Hypernovae or gamma-ray bursts?

  • They are basicly the same thing, a Hypernova (Eta Carina is a canidate for a hypernova) is just 100 times more powerfull than a supernova.

    Hope that answers your question

  • What the fuck thats not a gamma ray burst

  • yeah it is you fucking dumbass

  • That's definatley not a gamma ray burst, it's a similation of something that DEFINATELY doesn't relemble a gamma ray burst.

Anys, thanks for trying.. When the man went to the supermarket, he got himself some eggs because he didn't feel like doing anything on that particular notion.

    In other words.

    Yeahhh

    NOT A GAMMA RAY BURST!

    IT'S FAKE

  • Yes it's a Gamma Ray Burst, but it's obviously not a "real" Gamma Ray Burst, it's a simulation, we don't exactly know what color the explosion is, i've seen videos were the explosion is Green and not Blueish red.

So, that may or may not be exactly what a GRB would look like but yes it's a GRB

  • enough energy released in 1 sec then is produced in are sun in its 10 billion life cycle. Out shinning the intire universe in gamma rays. A Trillon times brighter then the sun. This shit is to awsome.

  • They are said to originate from Neutron Stars, Pulsars, Hypernova (Basicly the same thing) and Magnetars. (very interesting subject, Magnetars are my favorite thing to research) Quasars and Blazars emit them as well. They rays tavel at about 99.9 percent the speed of light. A Magnetar emited a GRB on December 27, 2004. The Burst was fired from more than 30,000 Light Years away and briefly altered the uper atmosphere of the earth.

  • I just saw on Discovery channel a sim of a GRB beam hitting the earth. Totally fried one whole side of the earth. We live in a unimageable violent universe. Think god we live in the back woods.

  • i saw that too!
