well the best counter vs muta baneling is marine/tank i guess, perhaps mix in some thors or maybe ghosts, but his composition was pretty nice, he just has to micro the marines better

Why don't zerg players just mass mutalisks till the point they can one-shot turrets and just contain everyone and keep picking away until the other person gets frustrated and leaves?

Like, start with a normal game, just make sure you aren't losing to any early push, obviously, then just massing mutas. Mutas are, imo, the best unit in the game. Or at least a very strong game-changing unit.

@kiwiteepee All it takes is for the terran to turtle up throw down a couple turrets in key positions... do a timing thor and marine push and gg your mutas... happened to me plenty of times when i started out playing as zerg... you need to have the lings and banes to distract even roaches/hydra/infestor depending on their composition...

@maltetheg Magic Box isn't some huge counter to mutalisks, even with it Thors still do a lot of damage to Mutalisks. Mutalisks also have tiny range, when magic boxed, not many can attack thors at one time, only about 6 plus you can always get Thor damage ups.

Terrans... Let me give you some advice. Just mass Thor-Hellion-SCV... There is no zerg counter to mass thor-hellion-scv. Let him take the map, let him tech to whatever he wants. When you are maxed, you are invincible with that composition. I don't get why terrans don't just 2-base mass mech and a-move win. The army is simply unstoppable, even against zerg's second wave.

lol, it used to be that everyone was crying about Terran imba, now they're crying about Zerg imba. Why? It doesnt make sense... The only nerfs to Terran were on early reaper harass and proxy barracks cheese. The only real zerg buff was roach range, which we didn't even see this game. Bottom line is, if you're Terran and you scout a baneling nest, yet continue to pump mass marine, YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE. IT'S NOT ZERG IMBA, IT'S YOU MAKING TERRIBLE DECISIONS

Zerg is very favoured over terran in late game macro. Terran never really had the macro capabilities to begin with, which made it necessary for terrans to harass in order to STAY EVEN.

Terran macro mechanics need some sort of a buff. The way you play should not be limited by your race. Each race should be even in early and late game, and each race should have good harassing and macro capabilities.

Of course late game is favored towards Zerg - Z are able to expand much faster. Thing is, the problem with Zerg is surviving the insane early game pressure that Terran can put on with MM balls, reapers, hellions, vikings, or whatever the T chooses. Face it, Terran have MASSIVE early game advantage vs. Z. Only the best Z players can survive past 7 minutes vs. a competent T player.

You complain about Terran macro? Try having to inject larva every 30 sec into 3-4+ hatcheries.

Dude, you have to micro very well to pull of an attack like that being zerg AND you typically need a larger army to do so too. Terran can easily micro the marines away w/ stim or position them in the back to begin with, which they should if they're any good. Banelings are only strong against light units and either bad timing or bad micro or good enemy micro can render them useless, not to mention siege tanks limit banelings' window of opportunity.
