No, the world's most intelligent dog lives in Germany or Austria (at a secret location) I've seen it on Nat Geo, and he had a levelel of understanding and even imagination no other dog has come close to, showed all the various tests. It was an amazing animal, and a mutt/cross-breed, I think.: )

To say there will be another Skidboot is true. But....if you've ever truly loved a dog, then you know. You know the magic. From age 23 to 36 my shepherd was by my side, sure he ate poop in the yard every now and again but he'd take a bullet for me, protected my wife when I was away, and was a clown prince too. I had the honor of seeing Skidboot at the State Fair of Texas way back when. I never forgot his name and saw him again many times on television over the years. His passing was reported on the local local news in Dallas/Fort Worth. I cried when I heard and cried again watching this video. What a dear, gentle man is David Hartwig.
