And I finally watch one of his videos and he spends half the bit making monkey noise and the other half being not very funny. Can someone point me to a bit that is actually funny or is he just popular with a narrow crowd because he puts down religion?

People should be focusing more on the subject of death rather than "Christians suck." If we're all gonna end up like victims of murder, Holocaust, wars, famines, accidents, natural disasters, etc(the list is long): We should take our research of death seriously and personally. (My target audience is the group of people who have gone through a near-death experience, since this will all be nonsense to those who haven't gone through one anyway)
