  • That's probably the sweetest looking cluster I've ever seen, I mean it's got it all nice colour it's digital sliding menus to select etc. however that can get annoying too after awhile, I guess it all comes down to the buyer and how and when the cars going to be drivin!

  • will it blend? that is the question

  • i would love to have one of these in my room.

  • I want one of these for my Toyota Supra!

  • Cool car but expensive as all get out.

  • Was that a simulator or a dyno?

  • @KGMmagazine Simulator, however it does rev that fast and that's why a digital tach was required.

  • Errr. that's a tachometer, not a speedometer...

  • I drove my LFA to school last week. And then I woke up :l

  • can it run crysis?

    rofl, got to say that

  • so f1 cars are pieces of crap? digital is more accurate than mechanical FYI. Also, this car spins so fast that a mechanical tach wouldn't be able to keep up. Quit talking out of your ass and open up your narrow mind.

  • I'll take a cable driven tach that's 300rpm off over a digital piece of crap any day. WTF is with the flashing? If I were fabulously wealthy, I would buy one of these automatic transmissioned girlie cars and crush it in public.

  • @SakoTGrimes This isn't a piece of crap retard.. This car is an almost-a-decade product of ideas, improvements and dedication. Before you call anything a piece of crap, make your own that would beat this car.

  • @angelite143 A Ferrari Enzo will blow the doors off every car I've ever owned, it's still a piece of crap. Toyota has a reputation for quality, and they can't even give their halo sports car a steady tach? It's a POS plain and simple. Horsepower and handling do not equal quality.

  • @SakoTGrimes In what way is this not a steady tach? This is probably the most accurate tach on a street car ever.

  • @rjhall90 It's about as smooth as digital TV.

  • @SakoTGrimes Engines aren't smooth. In fact, as rolling resistance changes consistently while going down the road, air currents and changes in air resistance, your engine is constantly fighting resistance. In addition, engines are based around pulses of power from combustion. If you fitted a tach this accurate onto something less smooth than a V12, such as an I4 or a V6/I6, you'd see a much different story. The tach would be all over the place. That tach is a marvel of technology. Physics!

  • dyno

  • The high price is just for the digital meter? C'mon!!!!

  • Tokyo meter show.

  • unreal responsiveness, look at the "rise time" of the rpm needle o.O

    thanks to NA V10

  • @Einheitskreis that car goes from idle to 9k RPM in half a sec :D

  • Motherfucker doesn't KNOW how to shift

  • i just go me one of those for $60 bucks...... gotta love my gran turismo 5 =)

  • @fox7seven lol I was about to ask u where did u buy it from so I could get 1 for my truck

  • It's obviously a woman driving by the way she is shifting. This is a bad ass car though.. Only 400k

  • You pay $500,000 for that cheap gauge lol.

  • @rforracing ,, its 375 grand, and the reason its digital gauge is because no regular needle can keep up with the revs, its too fast. 0.6 seconds from idle to redline

  • @rforracing NOT cheap

  • 9.5k rpm, HOLY SHIT

  • lol that guy cant shift for shit lol

  • wow..talking about misshift..

  • soon all vehicles will have a speedometer like that but different

  • wtf what is this? is this kind of simualtion? i mean the car is not real driving wat the fuck?

  • @xxBlackpspxx its on a dyno dumbass

  • @NATHANNARCISSIST1 are you sure? then the engine isnt very loud. if you put a car on a dyno then its actually so loud that you should use ear protection if you near to the engine or exhaust. well i dont know how loud this car is. but i kno taht there was some speedometer demo on the website of the car do you know it?

  • that speedo will distract me and make me not look at the road. ists lile play need for speed, lol

  • damn that speedometer is more than my bike,. i mean, its even more eyecandy than an iphone!

  • If i had the money to bu this car would buy a GTR and a Lamborghini and still have change left over. Both are Faster! Love the car but think its no where near worth the money!

  • @CrazyLitoFamily a gtr.. lol.. ew.. buy a zr1 yum

  • again!!

  • It this makes it that much funner to brake the engine =D

  • @killercrx91 thats what i was thinking...."what cool color comes after red...?"

  • ooooo shiny! such BS "digital because the regular one is to slow". If anything the digital is slower, more calculations to make, and computing. Analog you just increase the voltage to the needle, and problem solved. suck a nut lexus.

  • @MRH20T lol...you must be Carroll Shelby. Hats off.

  • you would shift at 9-10 rpm???

  • This is the best thing of the car :D

  • It resembles the IS300 speedo.

  • God, thats so fucking cool

  • Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, TVR, Bentley, Rolls Royce are real cars. What the hell is this thing?

  • @blaum5 a spaceship lmao

  • where was taken from?

  • That 9500rpm redline is insane... sounds beautiful ☺

  • thats a hefty price $350,000

  • @sumblocka hell yeah it is

  • love it but the person driving sucks at shifting haha

  • The reason why its a digital speedometer is because lexus claims regular speedometers are too slow to match the rps of the engine

  • This is seriously beautiful...amazing work

  • LFA is something new. Pricey but heck people pay for the veyron why not for something that is state of the art engineering.

  • Gimmick for a already awful, overrated, overpriced mediocre car. gg scum.

  • Gimmick for a already awful, overrated, overpriced mediocre car. gg scum.

  • So many Aggrument Down there = ) LMAO is Say This is The most Sexiest Speedometer i Ever seen..

  • Lexus is LEGEND :)

  • II AM IN LOVE WITH THIS CAR!!!!!

  • Maybe many people don't like the design but this car has one of the most beautiful interior and im sure the most beutifil instrumental panel ever created so this car has a lot of tecnology and great quality on construction why? because lexus beats many europs brands an american brands, so one can see and feel a georgus quality in materials and engenie for me this car is another level for supercars

  • don't red line dumb ass

  • lfa vs gtr? comments?

  • I just love this car

  • That green and red flashing would get annoying real fast. Digital tachs for the LOSE.

  • @SakoTGrimes digital tachs r more acurate....band the green and red flashing wud b helpful in extreme situations wen u need to focus on the road...if ur staring at the tach....ur not driving...LOSE...lol

  • Given the opportunity of buying the Lexus LFA or the Nissan GT-R...

..It would have to be the GTR simply because I could have 6-7 of them for the price of one LFA. But been more realistic it would be a case of buying the GTR and then buying a more practical car like a Range Rover and then I don't know...maybe a house to live in perhaps!!

Though I can't knock the fact that it is an amazing car and yes the speedometer is fantastic.

  • what the fuck .. this is absolutely mind blowing

  • fighissimo

  • I want one with all wheel drive and all wheel steering.

  • the speedometer is awesome. wonder if theres an aftermarket like that for other cars lol.

  • Not right now, at least.

  • but they will get the idea. its pretty awesome. i bet its patented too.

  • I would pay to have this as a dynamic theme for PS3

  • Honestly if i had the money id buy this car in a heart beat. Ferraris are good don't get me wrong. But they're played out. Everyone has one and it has lost its prestige. Lamborghini same thing. Where i live there are too many Gallardos and F430s. Although this car isnt in the same league. Id pick this over the murc. So what its a lexus? I could care less. While those cars are breaking down, i'll still be rolling...

  • @mojojojo911 where the fuck do you live?

  • fuckin japan haha

  • @chipattack911 ? wuts so funny?....they are more tech advance? caveman...

  • i can't find my comment...so i don't know what you're talking about...

  • Exactly my point...

  • @mojojojo911 What about the ZR1? Save 275 thousand dollars, not a bad deal.

  • @lawrencetimmons94

ZR1 have plastic rear bumper, you got what you paid, it's like LF-A you really got what you paid...one of the most rarest technology and car.

Every one can make million cars on same platform and only putting V8 pushrods in it, it's kind a blueprinted car. Sorry on my English.

  • @2jzgtejza80 You are fine on your English, its betteer than a lot of Americans' english :P

But in truth, you're paying 3 times as much for a car that isn't as fast or doesn't look as good as the vette. If thats what you want, I mean, go ahead, but it doesnt make much sense to me,,,sure the bumpers plastic, but it doesn't really make a difference, and if it makes the car go like stick, does it even matter at all?

  • @lawrencetimmons94

ZR1 and ZO6 are two great cars (overall), and also some Mustang's GT, legendary Ford GT40 (my favorite), but here in Europe, we are fucked up. Green regulations, emissions, and other green shit. who cares. I don't wanna pay 400,000 for LF-A only, I would like to pay these 400,000 for technology and knowledge. I'm an engineer of metallurgy, and I spending much time on research, so what i can tell you, buy want you want if you have money, of course.

    Have a nice day, lawrence

  • @2jzgtejza80 The Vette gets 16 city and 21 highway...thats not bad for a supercar. I don't know what it is fo the LF-A. You have to realize too, its 100,000 for the vette, NOT 400,000 like the LFA. But you got a job like that, i guess what its made of does make a difference to you :P Sounds like a good job

  • @lawrencetimmons94

ZO6 with LS7 gets 16 city, but it's capable 26-27 mpg highway. ZR1 little less.

LF-A have poor MPG, it's more race car than for anyday. My job is well payed in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Japan, USA, but not here in Croatia.

  • @2jzgtejza80 sorry, 4x as much

  • @mojojojo911 fucken hate retards like you that say european cars break down. this isnt 1960 anymore, its 2010, that shit doesnt go down when you pay 50 grand for bmw.audi etc... i will still take the ferrari or lamborghini over this any day. i would be ashamed and depressed if i paid 400k for a toyota. plus, the girls arent going to want to fuck you in a car that looks like it was made from triangular shaped tupperware. you pull up with the ferrari, or the lambo, you'll get ur dick wet 4 sure

  • @mojojojo911 i love this car too, it is personally my favorite sounding car ever. but u also underestimate the name Ferrari. imagine sitting behind a 458 italia and seeing that prancing stallion. while sitting behind the wheel u just see the regular L. all im saying is its a whole different driving experience sitting in a Ferrari, probably something u cant see.

  • @tennisplaya1869 Yeah fosure. It would be a different story if i actually owned a ferrari or even the LFA. I based what i said soley on how many times i see ferraris and lambos. But your right, the sound this car makes is unreal.

  • @mojojojo911 actually your wrong cuzz this lexus... price tag & how intesively its built upon pure performance... & the mass carbon fiber use & the power train... it makes it as high as prestige or even higher than that of ferrari & lambo... & even the murcielago sv's price tag... the lfa out performs it at that... bt the price tag & performance & limited number of units makes it up there in the super car world... as its ratio youll ever see one in the road is rare...

  • @mojojojo911 everyone has a lamborghini? i dont think so.

  • @mojojojo911

Where you live there are too many Gallardos and F430s??

Where the heck do you live lol.

  • @mojojojo911 i dont agree with you but i know what your saying. It is a very cool car but really expensive. I really dont like that you can only get it by a short term lease.

  • @loudblazer expensive? they sold all the cars.. and is a collection car is a exclusive and worth every coin spend

  • @redmanmustdie how is it a collection car if they only lease them? and just because they sold them all doesnt make them non expensive. Ferrari sold 30 FXX models at around 1.6 million and the people have to leave the cars at the factory. So are you saying the FXX is not expensive?

  • @loudblazer Lease was only in North America and it was only to prevent people from flipping the cars for money. No more lease option unless the client really wants to lease it for 2 years.

Welcome to 4 months ago. Most buyers wanted to buy the car out, which is why Lexus budged and decided to sell all cars outright except now they have to sign a contract for 2 years stating if they need to sell the car, Lexus will have the first right to buy it back from the owner.

  • @mojojojo911 damn where i live, there are too many Civics and Corollas lol

  • looks like a playstation game I love it

  • To be where the LFA is (when compared with the well-known super car makers who have been making and refining theirs for decades) is something to be DARN proud of!

All I can say is that the LFA has other super car manufacturers nervous.

  • Nothing can go wrong.. Its a lexus/Toyota... its invincible up to 300k Miles :)

    i want :(

  • @pingpong909 well you know yamaha built the motor

  • @atlridder well im not sure if yamaha actually build the motor.. but i know lexus/toyota worked with yamaha acoustics to produce the exhaust note that the lfa creates. Im sure they teamed up with Yamaha motors to create the engine as well but of course im not 100% positive.

  • @pingpong909 its on here somewhere i was playing a vid and they were talkin about how yamaha built it and i then took it to the accustics studio to get the tone right for the exhaust not. and get this the think that makes the mighty GTR so damn good is the all wheel drive system it has one of the lowest power lose drive trans out. and nissan didnt build or even design it lotus did

  • @atlridder Yup, they go to Yamaha for all their good engines; from the 2ZZ-GE for the XRS Corolla all the way up to this monster.

    Toyota made a good buy.

  • @HalfBreedMix wow i didnt know that i know they use to make the v6 and v8 engine for the ford taurus sho back in the day

  • @pingpong909 yes & no... toyota did have problems & did have recalls... bt still the lfa at that price shouldnt have those problems...

  • Wow. Just wow!

  • andy993-it does drop you stupid retard.

  • that speedometer probably costs more than my car

  • There is just so much that can wrong on this car.

I will add it to the list of half million dollar cars I will never own..........LOL!

  • the speed at which the v10 revs is simply amazing

  • sick ass gauge...

  • Totally agree with you Epik.

  • 全世界500台限定販売で日本国内では165台のみの販売で

    165人目の購入者が現れた場合は抽選販売で3750万円てのが凄いですねぇ!!家が買える!!

  • Yeah... you're not going to see precision tech like this in an Italian Exotic. When it comes to electronics... let's just say Lambo was lucky Germany could at least give a helping hand.

The Reventon is $1 million+ and it's gauge cluster is not quite as cool.

You don't see people bitching about "why did lambo release such an expensive car".

Why not? It's a badass car, so please stfu.

  • @andy993

You are an idiot. LF-A have better technology. Ferrari can dream only. Ferrari is good car company, but LF-A,hand build whole engine block is made of strong and light aluminum, alloy with magnesium and titanium and only stock street engine that was 100% FORGED!!!

Gearbox is fast as Enzo's 120-150ms. 1LR-GUE engine with fastest respond time from 1000-9000rpm ever made. 65% composite material and 35% aluminum, and you comparing Ferrari to LF-A.

Kid, go home eat some shit.

  • @2jzgete: Relax man. ALL Ferrari's are hand built. Only 2 street Toyota's ever were (which includes this one). BTW, I'm not a kid, and I don't eat shit.

  • @2jzgte: And where did you read that the LFA's engine was 100% forged? Block is CAST aluminum with forged internal components. Which is the same as most supercars.

  • @andy993

It's not cast!!! the aluminum-magnesium-titanium ''BLOCK PAD'' is cast at high pressure. This pad is forged and machined on CNC, after than machined and tempered and hand assembled. All other parts are all forged and made by Al-Mg and Fe-C materials. There's no Ferrari engine ever forged! The engine is made on tradicional way, with technical elements like 99,99% pure Aluminum, 99,99% pure Titanium alloy and magnesium. It's art like F1 engines.

  • @andy993

Half price of LF-A is engine which is masterpiece of engineering, if i can say more similar to F1 than Italia 458...Car is not maybe attractive but used metals structure is expensive than 90% materials ever used in exotic cars. My professor on faculty of metallurgy was been in Yamaha last year(like guest) and saw 50% of processes of casting (boats, engines, cars, bikes, plates, seamless pipes...)and forging the machines. He told me also that 90% of Japan automotive industries---

  • @2jzgtejza80

---collaborating with Yamaha and their metallurgical center. Yamaha is 4th best metallurgic gigant in the world.

1st is Arcelor Mittal which produce the finest aluminum for Formula 1 engines industry(Renault, McLaren,Sauber F1 team)

  • @2jzgte: I see. Well, that's cool. However, there IS at least one other stock street car with a 100% FORGED engine... Completely from a single solid piece of aluminum. Can you guess what it is? (hint: it was a W16) watch?v=GU32Q6QXtWQ&feature=player_embedded#

  • Actually, I take that back... Apparently that vid may not be the actual W16 in the Veyron...

  • @andy993

F430 stock have single clutch with double disk like LF-A and 200ms gearbox, slower than 150ms LF-A's. ONLY FERRARI California and Italia458 have Dual clutch NOT OLDER.

Also LF-A have modern electro-hydraulic clutch(many sports cars) with double disk and 10 elec.controled ITB's. LF-A using ATB torsen diff with better traction than active LSD on F430.

  • @2jzgtejza80

Why compare the LFA to a F430? Compare it to a 458, or at least a Scuderia.

Scuderia has a 60ms shift time... way less then LFA.

The 458 Italia makes MORE hp with a SMALLER engine. So how is it that Ferrari can only dream?

  • @SuperleggeraVW

When you press the RACE button, ECU gives more 20 hp at same rpm.

Italia 458 need 9000+rpm to reach 562hp, LF-A at 8700 produce 570 in RACE mode.

  • @2jzgtejza80

First 458 doesn't need 9000+RPM, it red lines at 9,000RPM.

Second the LFA gives the same hp at 300 RPM less for double the price, sweet deal.

And last, the LFA has a bigger engine and 2 more cylinders.

Ferrari makes money on every 458 they sell, while Toyota loses money on every LFA they sell and its DOUBLE the price. Similar performance, similar quality, yet Ferrari can profit on the 458 while selling it for less then half of the cost to build an LFA.

And I don't even like Ferrari

  • @SuperleggeraVW

Me too, yeah, but i will always choose the LF-A, because every fucking idiot with money, buying the Ferrari.

  • @SuperleggeraVW Toyota doesnt make any money for every lfa they sell. Where did you get that information? I got mine from TopGear

  • @player510

I also got my info from Top Gear... they said in the LFA review that they don't make money on LFA's.

It's common for companies to do that, it's like advertising. Bugatti Veyron's cost 5 times the sticker price to build.

  • @SuperleggeraVW Where do you get these numbers and do you have proof? Why would the company want to advertise a product if they know for sure they will lose a lot of money? Until then I won't believe you unless you have proof.

  • @player510

I told you in my previous comment that Top Gear said they don't make money on the LFA. I'm sure you could also find that info with a quick Google search. I'm not going to spoon feed you everything, I really don't care if you believe me or not.

Next point. The car itself is advertising. "Look at use, look at what we can make. Our competitors can't make this, that's why our cars are better then our competitors." Things like that. It will make Lexus look better.

  • too bad toyota's short f1 history is filled with cheating and no victories while ferrari has dominated many constructor's and driver's championships. lol toyota can only dream. besides, the LFA might be a technical marvel but it's a business failure and that's essentially what it comes down to since they made it to be a production car.

  • ハイテクですなあ。

    かっこいい。

    みんなこうなっていくんだろうか・・・。

  • 9,500 RPM that's amazing.

  • Yes the car looks crazy in person. The aero scoops are huge an the car is very wide.

  • @jsl757

When asians build cars, wide looks good

  • spettacolo!

  • perfect.. exactly what i was looking for! Thank you.

quick question did the car have insane presence?
